Teddy Bear Day Care & Learning Center LLC

I have a Bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Family Sciences: Early Childhood Education, so I knew I wanted a high-​quality, NAEYC Accredited location to send my newborn to once I returned to work. I also wanted a place that took cloth diapers and breastmilk. This is the place!!!
We have been there for almost two months now and we love it! You can tell they really bond with the children and teachers from classrooms my child is not in greet my baby by name when she is coming in or leaving. They have a great teacher/adult:child ratio. I think the Infant classroom has 8 babies (thought don’t quote me on that number) and I have never seen less than three adults in there. One adult is always the Bachelor’s-prepared Lead Teacher and another is always the Associates-​prepared Assistant teacher. The third adult is usually someone who is there to help in any way necessary. Often times, the administrative staff also like to go around and help whenever needed, too, so you know the level of attention your child is getting is high.
I am very impressed by the educational level and preparation the teachers have gone through, and I am impressed by the level of planning and attention that they put into each week’s activities.
They put a lot of evidence-​based thought into making sure activities are developmentally appropriate and work very hard to meet the standards of NAEYC.
They also were able to work out part-​time care, which is what was most ideal for our family right now. They only offer this is if works out with class numbers and scheduling, but they try really hard to make it the schedule you need. We consider ourselves very lucky, in that respect.
They also do not price gouge. I was afraid when I decided I wanted an NAEYC accredited child care center, that it would be detrimental to my bank account, but unlike some other places, Teddy Bear is actually very reasonable.
I trust them 100% with the care of my baby girl, and she has really bonded with the teachers, too. We are very happy all around and are so glad to have this great resource so near. Thank you, Teddy Bear Day Care!

Our son loves Teddy Bear and looks forward to going every day. The staff genuinely loves the children and has worked with our schedule as our needs have changed.

Teddy Bear Day Care provides a very safe learning environment. Students are exposed to speakers, entertainers, field trips, instruments, foreign and sign language. There are many opportunities for parents participate with student-​centered evening programs, parent workshops, and meet & greets.
