History
Established in 2009.
Opened in 2009, as Lefty’s Bakery and Espresso Bar, the business was meant to operate as two business’ under the same roof; The Bakery, and Misty’s Wet Yer Whistle Espresso. Our sign read Lefty’s because the Baker and I were (are) both left handed. Six months into it, two significant events occurred that should have shut the shop down completely. I became pregnant with my fourth child, and the Baker removed himself from the operation. (Neither event having anything to do with the other) but both being deal breakers. Soon thereafter Misty’s Wet Yer Whistle became a Mother and Daughter shop.
My Daughter Amanda became my ‘right hand man’. I started to bake sweets, and have continued to do so. It is now 2016. The fourth child is now six and I am a Grandmother to an almost one year old little girl.
