Have you or someone you know had one of those days when your computer is running slow or would not boot at all? At Computer Works we can take care of that for you. Scanning and cleaning off viruses and spyware, repairing Windows or Mac operating system problems, correcting software conflicts and issue are just some of the things we can assist you with.

Replacement of screens and power jacks on notebook computers is another service that we offer at ComputerWorks.

We offer free diagnostic services. Bring in your system and we will diagnose it and let you know if it is repairable or if you are better off replacing your system. The only time you will be charged is when we repair your system.

History

Established in 2014.

Computer Works was original established in 2008, but has been reopened under new ownership as of March 2014 at our new location.

Business Owner

During the 80s while I worked at Bi-​County Ambulance, I took over responsibility for the computers and networking when Computer Land closed their doors. After Leaving the Ambulance service I worked for myself fulltime repairing computers.

After several years of self employment I supporting local businesses and home users, I entered the realm of Education with the Colusa County Office of Education. I thoroughly enjoyed my tenure at the County during the 8 years I worked there. Next stop was Williams Unified School District for 4 years as the Technology Coordinator.

After leaving Williams and becoming self employed again the opportunity to work with my daughter Emily Shires came about and we opened up ComputerWorks.
