The one star I’m giving is because I can’t possibly post this review without doing that. This place is EXTREMELY unhygienic. I went in for a wax today and the owner Sue was in the wax room taking care of another client. As soon as the client walked out, Sue called me in. This meant that # 1 she did not wash her hands after finishing with the prior client # 2 — she did not bother to change sheets/​covers after finishing with the prior client. So I walk into the wax room and there is a white towel with the previous clients hair on it. I asked her to change the towel and she did and replaced it with the paper roll (the kind you see at the dr’s office). Then she attempted to use the same wax stick she used on the previous clients. After I pointed out to her about the stick and the towel she just acted like it was nothing. Also, this place steals the bats from FoodMaxx (across the street) and uses them to wrap your foot in the paraffin wax when they give you a pedicure. That to me is pretty low. NEVER going there again!

Not happy! This was my second visit and brought 3 other girls with because I was so pleased with the service. This time I was ignored, got cold water and a sloppy polish. The other girls had issues with the gel. One got cut on her toe. It was a terrible experience and was embarrassed I recommended the place. Also the place was dirty

A few days ago I went to get am acrylic fill and Billy did my nails… I’m not into this gel movement and wanted regular polish and when I went to sit down with Billy, he complained that using polish takes longer than using gel. He actually pouted and complained about it! So he did my nails and they turned out… not awful but pretty close. He didn’t even ask if I wanted them cut or filed down, he was talking on his phone half the time and when I was done… my nails were uneven in every which way. He didn’t buff them down correctly so my nails look like they’re curving like talons and the tips are all slanted. The 2 stars are for the prices and that’s about it.

Best place I’ve ever had my nails done! I drive from Auburn to go there and my mom drives from Redding. Everyone there does a great job! Billy and Sue make you feel like family. It’s a fun place to go and get pampered and have a great time. I leave there feeling happy! I highly recommend giving them a try. You won’t be sorry.

I was in town for work. I called last minute to see if they could squeeze me in. They stayed late to do my nails when I explained that I had to work and could not come any other time. Amazing really they are. And my nails look amazing! Very reasonable price too. I would recommend to anyone. Definitely would be my go to place if I lived in Yuba.

There is something awfully fishy about a business posting photos of customers hands and speaking in first person, on behalf of their customers like «how great so and so is and how much they loved their nails»! Very wrong! Billy and Sue T are the owners who also own the ice cream shop next door.
When I had a pedi done by Billy, he inquired how I heard of him. I said Unilocal.He replied that he gets most of his business from Unilocal and he strongly encouraged me and told other customers to leave a review. The whole time he was doing my pedi, he was ranting about customers leaving him bad reviews and accused them of being his competitors or of being unreasonable customers. He said «feet are dirty» to justify his prices. His prices are more than average by the way. I sat there for one hour hearing him complain about his job, his customers… Not being able to relax whatsoever nor does it make me want to return! He was boastful and very arrogant to boot!

I really love the service and how nice the people are but the over all nails are not that good in quality. The shape of mine is not what I asked for, and all of them are different.

Called ahead to make sure there wasn’t a long wait and of course there wasn’t…until we came in and saw the techs scrambling to figure out who was going to accommodate us. Rushed service with poor quality work.

Everyone was very nice and Billy made my pedicure feel amazing with his strong massage. They have alot of services to offer, other then just nails. I definitely will be going back for massage and wax!

So I can safely say that I have been to almost every nail place In Yuba City and Eva’s was by far the worst!

The one star would go towards the niceness of them, they were very nice, but myself and two daughters got there at 3:25pm for a 3:30pm appointment. We waited almost 20 min before my daughter was seated, another 25 for myself.
Bill kept getting up and leaving the building without a word while leaving my daughter half done in the chair. Sue did my nails. AWFUL! They looked nothing like the shape I wanted and the paint job was not good. Almost two hours there and with crappy results. 45 min to an hour is supposed to be the average.
I will never go there again!

One of the most horrible nail places I’ve been to. I went in for a color change. My nails look uglier than when I walked in. That white-​asian guy was rushing to get me out of there. NEVER coming back.

I have no clue how this nail salon has such a high rating. This is the worst gel manicure I have ever gotten. I feel like the guy who painted my nails wasn’t even trained. There was no shaping or buffing, just a quick file while I had a pedicure. I’m fairly certain a step was missed in the application of gel polishes as well. They clearly just wanted me out as soon as possible. They look worse than if I had done then myself. So utterly unprofessional. I am so disappointed.
*After further reading these reviews, and noticing that there are 32 mostly crappy «not recommended» reviews I think is safe to safe that there is something really fishy with this business. I know Unilocal can’t always be trusted but I’ve never seen this degree of f*ckery. Buyer beware. Don’t go here. I wish I had researched further before wasting my money.*

It was my first time here and I really enjoyed my gel manicure and pedicure. They were really nice and quick. I didn’t have to wait at all. I will come here again when I’m in yuba city :)

They do almond shaped nails… They’re all very nice and talkative. She did my nails quick! And at some places they look at me weird when I chose my weird colors but she just did her job and she did very well.

Worst experience ever!!!
My girls and I went to get our nails done for my up coming wedding. We all had pictures of what we wanted… let me just say we got nothing like what we wanted.
We had to go to an other nail salon after our visit… showed them what we wanted, showed them what we got and they felt bad for us.
We went to Galaxy and they did a FANTASTIC JOB!!!

Can’t believe I have no wrote a review for this place! I stumbled upon this place when I was looking for a place to get a pedicure. The usual place I’ve been going were packed so I checked on Unilocal and found Eva Nails and I have not stopped going back since. The owner and manicurist here are super friendly and their service is awesome! I never feel rush whenever I’m there and they take the time to make sure my pedicure on point.
This salon is clean and they’re located right across the street from the Yuba mall in its own little plaza with lots of parking. I make sure I come here to get my pedicure whenever I’m in town visiting.
If you’re looking for a great nail salon with awesome service and great prices, this is the only place to go!

One of the best nail salons I have been to. Everybody is so friendly and the service is great. I definitely recommend this salon as your go to place for mani and pedi needs! And don’t forget to check out their ice cream shop next door everything is so good.

Stopped in this morning to get a full set with gel. Giang immediately welcomed me with a big smile and got started. He chatted with me the whole time, about football, the weather, where we both used to live. He was so fun and it was such a nice change from most places where they just talk to each other in their own language. He was all about making sure I was happy with what he was doing every step of the way, and was done in no time. I was very happy with the work and the price. Can’t wait to go back and have him do my fill. It isn’t the fanciest shop, but it is definitely the friendliest one I have been in in a very long time.

Best nail shop I have been too. They make u feel special with all of there services. Plus they have Hay Hay Ice Cream right next door… Billy, Sue and there crew are the best come check them out

Super friendly! Priced right! Don’t feel rushed! Love a relaxing pedicure with a great massage! My dogs need extra attention and I can get it here!
