Awesome customer service. Way more help then going to Home Depot and not being able to find anyone to help you. Everyone was very friendly and helpful.

I’m going to review this store on two different occasions. Every time I’ve shopped there has been great, but there are two visits that stand above the rest. First of all, everyone there has always been very friendly and helpful, I have always felt well taken care of! The last time my husband and I were shopping, we were invited to come out to their customer appreciation BBQ(hosted once a month in the summer) I think that is amazing — no other stores do that! The second visit was another customer appreciation«Ladies Night», the employees were really fun, welcoming, and did not make me feel dumb or out of place(even though I am not a crafty/home decorator or anything). We built these great blanket ladders, in a fun and relaxed setting, they provided snack and had music, I am definitely looking forward to the next event. All in all, Meeks goes above and beyond to provide for their customers, they are a great local store!

I had trouble finding siding, went to Home Depot and Lowes, could not get any help at all. I Went to Meeks and spoke to Kelli. She showed me the Lumber yard, I got everything I needed from Kelli. GREAT Customer Service.

Very poor customer service and over priced. I never been to a meeks before this one so I hope other stores are ran a little better.

I really appreciate small hardware stores that have the little touches that make it feel like home. This particular store has free popcorn by the front door, someone always immediately greets me kindly, and they offer special programs throughout the year for children to come build things and have a free lunch. They have also made donations to me for the homeless veterans organization! Thanks for caring about the community!

I find it hard to believe that I am the first person to write a review about this place. My husband needed to buy fencing material this past week. He mentioned seeing a sign indicating Meeks was having a sale on fencing. I have dealt with Meeks in the past, while the company I work for was remodeling some apartment buildings. At that time, the service, or «lack of customer service», caused us to quickly go elsewhere. And I was working with a pretty hefty budget. Completely unprofessional office«girls» laughing and playing on their cell phones, while I waited to purchase a large amount of materials. Oh well. But I digress. My husband decided to go to Meeks anyway. He purchased a large amount of fencing materials, and before he left, he took a look at what had been loaded up for him. More than 50% of the fence boards were broken, split, chipped, etc. He removed these from his truck, at which time one of Meeks AWESOME employees told him he was not to leave the yard without picking up the mess he had made. My husband politely told the young man that he had purchased fencing materials, not firewood. After arguing with my husband for several minutes, and after my husband asked to speak with the manager, the employee acquiesced, and agreed to get the lumber my husband had purchased ready for him by the time he came back. We are currently remodeling a home from the floor up, and although I’m sure Meeks gets so much business that they won’t miss ours, we sure won’t be back, and I sure will tell anyone I know who needs building materials to keep on driving about a mile down the road until they get to Lowe’s. Or Home Depot. Yikes!
