History
Established in 2012.
Yuba-Sutter Safety, started out in 2006 as First Responder Training Solutions. In 2011, owners Terry an Lennie Masse decided to give the business a more «local» feel and be a part of the local small business community. In February of 2012, the name change became official and Yuba-Sutter Safety was born.
Meet the Business Owner
Terry M.
Business Owner
Terry has been in the emergency services field since 1994 when he first became an EMT. He continued his desire to work in the public safety arena by attending Northeastern University’s Paramedic Program in 1999, and becoming a Nationally Registered EMT-P in 2000. He has worked for both public and private ambulance services and currently works as a Firefighter/Paramedic for the Sacramento Fire Department. Terry is currently working as the Hazardous Materials Coordinator for the Sacramento Fire Department where he oversees the Department’s two Type-1 Hazardous Materials Response Teams and is responsible for conducting department wide training drills. He is currently an outreach instructor for CSTI and the UC Davis Extension (Sacramento).
