Pedrino Home Remodeling 64 years with a Family Business your Family Can Trust. When «Grandpa» William T. Pedrino started the business in 1948, he had no idea it would grow to include over 25 employees — and thousands of happy customers. But that’s exactly what happened. Sixty four years later, Pedrino Home Remodeling commemorated three generations of family ownership, trustworthy service and repeat business.

The company originally sold and installed wood windows and doors. By 1965 the founding father was forced to hire his 13 year old son to keep up with demand for over 20 years, William and Don Pedrino headed the company together, improving homes in Southern California. In 1998 they relocated from Hawthorne to EI Segundo.

Though the move only measured four miles, it catapulted the business from four part-timers to over 25 full-time employees.

After spending my high school years working at the family glass shop and after graduation I had what I felt were two choices. One, go on to college and further my education or two, join one of our countries armed forces. I decided on the United States Marine Corps. After spending 8 years with the Corps my family talked be back into the family business. Since 1997 I’ve had the honor and privilege to work side by side with my family. I can say on behalf of my entire family, we here at Pedrino Home Remodeling are very proud to say that we have a legacy that exceeds 65 years family owned and operated. I would personally like to thank you for the consideration and opportunity to meet your residential home improvement needs. Thank you in advance.

I signed a contract on 9-21-2015 with Joseph Stevens their lead sales rep. I payed $ 3988.00 as the first half of the payment. Job was promised to be completed in 4 – 6 weeks. We are now in the 11^th week, nothing has been done. They made several appointments for installation and cancelled the day of stating that the windows were not ready. Four times they cancelled each time I waited 2 – 3 weeks for the next install date. In November I asked for my money back since the company kept lying about the next install date. Joseph Stevens and Terri Pedrino promised that they will return my money. They several times said they will refund it through my credit card, then several appointments were made for them to deliver the money in check form. Nothing was delivered. Each time, on the date of the appointment, hours later I got a text saying sorry, the check will be brought the next day. This went on for several days. At some point Joe Stevens wrote to me for me to go through my credit card company to collect my loss and he will give me a $ 500.00 for doing so. The company is fraudulent, the employees are thieves and lie to customer. The company is apologetic and claims they have refunded my money, but nothing has been refunded.

Excellent Company! We called Pedrino home remodelling last year in March 2014. We wanted the best deal and best services, so we waited and got quotes from few other companies. Pedrino Gave me the best deal possible since we went through a Hero Program. They installed whole house windows and patio perfectly. Terry, Gregg and Billy were the best. They answered all my questions before I signed up agreements with them. I would highly recommend this company to anyone without any doubts. Our house looks amazingly beautiful after the upgrades. Thank You guys!

So glad I found Pedrino here on Unilocal now that I am more active on the site. My experience is from a few years ago, but it was so good I kew I needed to post it!
I lived in Brea, CA for a year right out of college and was living in a place that was a little run down. I wanted to upgrade some thing since I was not sure how long I was going to stay there and wanted to be able to get a better deal out of it then when I got it. It was a doubt wide trailer that needed some extra love before I passed it on the a new owner. So, I called Pedrino and chatted with them about some affordable option. They were super helpful over the phone and send me information online since I was not able to meet them in person that first day. Then, they came by my place to take a look since I was trying to decide between a few options.
In the end I went with the Thermosonic windows after a lot of deciding and hearing the pros and cons. I think what was great about the whole deciding time, however, was that I never felt like I was being pressured into buying. All of the staff I spoke to were really helpful and kind. I never felt like I was just a sale to them, but rather someone to really help out through the whole experience. Well, the windows were installed quickly and efficiently, and I really loved them. I wish I could speak for how they worked over time, but I actually sold the place about three months later when I moved to Washington State. The couple that purchased it from me said that they were really impressed by the windows, and it was one of the reasons they chose to buy from me instead of another family they were talking to.
All in all I loved working with Pedrino! I know I will be using them again if I am ever in the area and have the chance to do so. They helped me make my place a step above the rest out there, and helped me a lot when it came to actually getting my house resold. If you live in the area for sure check them out, you WILL NOT be disappointed!

So, I saw one of their deals from angle’s list for a patio cover, I thought to contact them and buy the package cash. One of the people who answered me, was very nice and courteous to arrange the appointment today, which is Saturday.
My issue is that come the scheduled day and time today at 0900 am, I receive a call 10 minutes before the time, and a voice left a message saying to call back. So I did. What he told me over the phone that the guy that was supposed to come to measure, closed a deal to come to another house today. So they want to reschedule next week.
I think they are very unprofessional of making an appointment and canceling the day of the appointment, no one in the industry does this. But they do. They should not be confirming appointments if they are taking an appointment somewhere. He told me they just found out today. Please give me a break, they should at least be telling the truth and admit to a double booking. People are not born yesterday to believe this lie. If you read the reviews below, you would see, that these are the same issues. Re scheduling and so forth. Very unprofessional company, I would not recommend it at all. I delayed appointments this morning so I can stay in the house to meet them. But no, no one showed up.
Overall, I think this company is a very unprofessional, wrongfully run company. I advise people not to deal with these people at all. Stay away at all cost. As for me, I will be looking somewhere else to bring my business to. If i can give negative stars, I will. I will also tell everyone about my experience, in every platform that I can so I can warn others.

Through ANGIES LIST (which I am starting to question their listings) I hired them. I thought perhaps it was due to the fact that I had ordered at the wrong time of the year. It was an ok job. I have had better service and shutters in the past. I recommended the company to my friend/neighbor. I am so sorry I ever did this. Her situation has been a serious nightmare! I am embarrassed for recommending this company. Apparently this company does not pay their sub-contractors and this is the reason for the poor service. I will not recommend this company to the other three people that wanted their number from me. I will NOT take any poor reviews off of any review site until they fix the situation with my friend and neighbor. Thank you.

9÷5÷2015 project is finally complete.
8÷17÷2015 update —
we were supposed to get windows tomorrow… rescheduled AGAIN. So many reschedules now I have lost count.
We paid a deposit for work from Pedrinos on June 15, today is August 12
according to the contract, work was to be completed in 3 – 4 weeks.
Still incomplete.
Couldn’t find the windows at the factory to install.
update: Currently we are being told windows will be installed next week. 8÷17÷2015 — RESCHEDULED AGAIN
Patio cover:
After rescheduling installation 5 or 6 times, the Patio cover arrived cut to wrong dimensions, had to be recut
update: finally complete as of August 10^th
I will amend this review again when the work is completed.
we have been disappointed considering they were rated so highly on Angies list& here, when we chose them to do the work

Pedrino Home remodeling was the company we hire to do our window shutters. I gave my full trust on them! At first they say they will deliver the shutters and install then in 3 weeks! 3 weeks had past we didn’t here from them! Forgot to say that we paid 50% of the total cost already. On the 4^th week still we bever heard any appology or just say hey your shutters will be late!!! We already called the company. Then that’s the time they schedule the installment the end of the week which is Saturday! They called us before Saturday saying they couldn’t make it!!! But they said that they’ll fo it on next friday!!! Then they call again saying «oh we don’t want to do it on Friday the 13^th!!! We’ll move it on Saturday! So what else can we say, but okay! Sure! Then near Saturday they said sorry we couldn’t make it! We really had a lot of back up order and we appologize! And they said this time we will schedule the installation on March 28! I said why!!! They said because of the rain they had hard time getting the woods done! And they said I promise we’ll do excellent job! Approaching March 28! They called again! They have emergency and they will do the installation on Tuesday after the 28^th…
This is a long story of delaying, poor service and business without integrity!
Finally our shutters were intalled!!! Some are good others are bad quality! I’m tired of calling them and asking them to change things! 1 of the shutters that they installed was not in the contract! I called them to change it but now a week had pass no one called me back as they promised… I hipe my review will help othe customer to think twice before they trust this company!
