Yucaipa Auto Collision

In the past when I had an accident I usually drop off my vehicle at the dealership collision center or the insurance designated shop. This time around my car was hit in a parking lot and with nobody around I had to fork out a detectable myself.
My insurance company was taking so long and giving me a run around so since I had plenty of time and because I had to pay $ 500 out of pocket I wanted to find the best auto collision shop to fix my car. On Unilocal most shops allow you to message the shop for a quote (use it only for quote reasons, not a way to message the shop:/)
This shop was the first one to message me back and was full of info, the photos showed great work and if Metal Mulisha is coming all the way to Yucaipa from Temecula (where I used to live) to get work done where there are some great shops out there. I figured DAMN this place has to be great! I left my car at the shop and there were a few minor issues, got a lil frustrating but dealing with Brian and co Owner Doug they took care of everything and made sure I was completely happy! The face of the business has to be Brian!
He is what Customer Service should be. Friendly, professional, always has a smile, the kinda guy you wanna have a beer with! One of the main things that is important to a customer other then the product/​service provided is customer service. I got that with Brian and Doug! After all is said and done my car looks great, they even include a lifetime warranty on their work.
I’ll be back to get my offroad prerunner truck fenders painted.

This is a local business that I have been to more than once. Dave the owner and all of the staff are always friendly and do wonderful work. I took my college kids car by to get a quote for a bumper, but we were advise to glue down the piece that we thought had to be replaced and saved us money. Honest, friendly and wouldn’t go anywhere else! I will always refer this business. Thank you.

I have never been treated as well as I was at YUCAIPA AUTO COLLISION. I took my car in on Monday and it was ready on Friday. Not only did they fix the right rear side of my damaged car but they went over and above and repaired some paint damage I had on the whole right side of my car and the same damage on the front end. I have a 2006 car and now with the incredible job these guys did on my car it looks like the day I bought it. Bring your car here you won’t be disappointed. I recently went to Yucaipa Auto Collision to have my grill reattached. I found Brian Chennault to be most professional, courteous and accommodating with my time restraints. Theses guys were awesome, got my car back in two weeks. Doug made it possible to get my car back today (friday) rather than Monday! Which I was beyond happy about. They did a great color match, can’t even tell I got hit. Also they we’re sweet enough to wash my car, which i appreciate. I haven’t washed it since last year lol thanks guys, glad geico works with the company. Hopefully I don’t have to be back haha.

I’ve had experience with a few auto collision companies in my day. I could go into detail about why I didn’t return to one of the other places but that’s not why I am writing this review.
Two weeks ago I was searching for a place to fix my damaged vehicle. I came across Yucaipa Auto Collision on Unilocal.They had great reviews. I called and talked to Brian. The deciding factor for choosing Yucaipa Auto Collision was because of how professional and knowledgeable Brain was. He was there to answer any sort of questions or concerns that I had.
Today I got my car back and it looks great. I am a picky person. I am 100% pleased. Thank you Yucaipa Auto Collision and a special thank you to Brian!

This is the best auto body shop that I’ve come across. Friendly, helpful, honest, quick, I can’t say enough good things about them. I will definitely return, if I have any other type of auto body misfortune, in the future.

These guys are fantastic! Came home from work, and my lovely bride explained how our boy smacked our SUV into our friend’s parked truck. At this point, I’m feeling a bit concerned, but understanding since the boy is just learning to drive. My wife then proceeds to explain how she brought our SUV to Yucaipa Auto Collision, and they hammered out the fender for… wait for it… free. That’s right, they took care of her right away and didn’t even charge us. Thanks Dave and company!

I have nothing but good things to say about this company. They have worked on my brand new vehicle twice now. Both times were minor. Because it is a newer car I didn’t want to drive it around with dings. And of course my car is a magnet for flying objects on the freeway. My most recent visit Dave buffed out the minor damage and advised me to cancel the claim, and save me the hassle of dealing with insurance and my deductible. He informed Enterprise of the situation so they can give me his discount, because i only had the rental car for a few fours. I went in to pick up my car, thinking I was going to pay about 40 $, instead of my 100 $ deductible. Dave didn’t charge me anything. I felt like I should pay something because they did provide some services. But he insisted that it was no big deal. He preferred to have happy customers. I’m very thankful for companies who believe in great customer service. This is rare today. Most companies are all about money and no customer satisfaction. I also really appreciate how they treat me. Being a young woman dealing with men, in the car business, I usually feel very insecure and disrespected upon leaving. Instead everybody I’ve dealt with at Yucaipa Auto Collision has treated me with kindness and the utmost respect. I highly believe in supporting the businesses in our town. This company makes that very easy to do… Thanks Dave, and Yucaipa Auto Collision… BTW, I’m a little late on my review, services were about a few months ago, both visits in the last 6 months.

My insurance company recommended Yucaipa Auto Collision as an approved location for service. Their recommendation was spot on. They did a fantastic job, delivered on time, they handled all insurance issues seamlessly. I am very pleased and will return if I ever need need their services again.

Great customer service is what will keep me recommending this place to anyone who would listen. I contacted this place regarding a popped bumper and this place took care of it quickly and in a professional manner. Great job!!!

Let me start with saying having an accident is never a wonderful experience we all know that, but when I walked in they set my mind at ease… the accident not being my fault of course was one thing that had me wondering just exactly how things would work with the insurance and so forth he understands it from top to bottom he explained everything to me and just the fact that I Drive an older car which we call Betsy he did not take any less time with me or treat me any differently than the man that drove in behind me with the Mercedes if they kept me up to date on a daily basis sending .he sent me an email showing me pictures of my car as time progressed I was shocked when I know more than had explained my situation who my insurance was he said… already received an email from your insurance carrier and a car is on the way from enterprise… enterprise drove up took me back down to their office and I was quickly put into a loaner car… thank you so much Dave for being there I hope I never have any more accidents like this but you never know. the car turned out beautifully… you guys did such a great job and I cannot give you enough words of encouragement to all the people that read this go see Dave at Yucaipa auto collision you won’t be sorry in fact I just referred a man last night first name of Joe to him and I know that he will be more than pleased thank you for being there!!! I had a horrible experience here. I was looked right in the
Eye. I was told (he knows who he is.) that my SUV was
Perfectly safe. To drive. He told my mother by phone.
That my car was perfectly safe to drive.
I was told by this same person by phone that I had
To pay my deductible. Return the rental car .
Had no issues with that. I did.
Low and behold! My car still had repairs needed to
Be serviced based off the facts as to why
I made the claim threw my insurance company!
The most screwed up part? Literally leaving a
Disabled 3 year old toddler and his mother stranded
How nice! If this is good work ethics? Than that’s a shame.
So after I took care of being stranded with my disabled
Child. Literally waiting 5 hours for a ride. After I
Turned in the rental car. The next day I get a call
That I needed to pay more money again.
After I signed the first set of receipts that my car was fixed
Ready to go the day before. So once again I paid
The rest of the balance to where my car was at!
I take it home? Low behold again my stero system would
Not power on! (all this going on my birthday of all days!)
The next day? Go to my car? Hey my alarm system is dead.
Try to start my engine? Again it’s the battery!
(not shocked.) hey when I called back?
I was told I will be charged? But when my car went in?
My car battery my stero system was working beautifully .
No my car battery was not old. Yes my car is faithfully serviced
Twice a year! Any car owner? Who is willing to
Hire a Machanic to custime make parts for her engine and transmission?
Knowning that the dealership stopped making parts for this make model
Car? Should be common sense? They must know something about the car and
How it works. On top of that alinement I did get on my car was horrible?
Was not alined? Alinements are done. To make cars drive straight!
(again common sense.) along with I could not see the invoices of what was being
Done to my car? I am the owner? Have full receipts
Of everything has been done to the car?
Because Yucaipa auto body was the client?
But If I did not go threw my insurance company
Made the claim? They would not of gotten the job.
So how am I not the client? Like I told my insurance
Company? So no I would never come back here again.
No I would tell anyone to go here.
I am still stranded without my car.
Until my regular Machanic makes the corrections.
How nice! For a claim that is suppose to be closed ?
Why is it still open? That has me the most curious.
My answers will get answered at some point.
Because I am patient person.

Redlands auto plaza. Service department
Fried my car battery. Fried my stero system.
A another alinement had to be done on
My car. So I hope the owner will
Honor his word! Not send anymore of
More of his clients here!
Save everyone heartache headaches
Grief. Not be so trusting.
Yes the owner can look at the updates on my claim. See why I am still upset.

The first red flag you see?

These guys were wonderful! They took time to meet me 2hrs away and did extra nice touches to my car. My car looks wonderful and I couldn’t have asked for better service throughout the repair.

Dave towed my crashed jeep to his shop following an accident in a snowstorm. He’ll remember it if he reads this: the yellow 2000 Wrangler in the New Year’s eve storm on 38. He gave his time generously over the phone and was always ready to drop whatever he was doing to talk to me. Personable and seemingly very knowledgeable, I liked the guy and trusted whatever he said.
Dave was generous enough to let me store the jeep in his yard free of charge while I figured out what to do next. I want him to know how much I appreciated that act of kindness!

Myself being a new resident to the Yucaipa area, and having my new car backed into. I had to rely on Unilocal online reviews and ratings.
So Yucaipa only two shops with reviews, I went to both of them plus one other shop with no ratings.
After comparing prices and comfortably… Dave at Yucaipa Auto Collision gave me the best feel and price so I went with him.
I got my car back in a good timely matter.
I can t say enough about Dave and his team, they strive to return your vehicle looking better than when you turned it in.
So if you’re looking for honesty, perfection at the best prices. Yucaipa Auto Collision is the place to go…

Dave and Doug helped my customize my 2015 Tahoe LTZ to the fullest. These guys are the best around. I drove all the way from Orange County to have these PRO’s work on my brand new suv with only 300 miles on it. Everyone at the shop was super friendly and courteous. I basically felt like I had a Ferrari in the shape of a Tahoe… that’s how good and hands on this body shop is.

I stopped by this business yesterday around 1230 pm to get an estimate for my Jeep. I walked right inside the open door to the front office which had a door chime to alert others that a customer has walked in. There was no one inside the office and I get it, it was lunch time. However, there were other workers in the back that I know saw me. They walked right by me several times but did not care enough to ask if I had any questions. I waited for several minutes waiting to be helped but no one came. All the workers in the back were either too busy or did not care enough to assist customers who walk in. Not exactly what I call good business. I stood there in the office wondering why would I ever consider a place like this to work on my new Jeep so after several minutes, probably 15 minutes, I walked out. There was even an employee outside just standing there doing absolutely nothing but holding up a wall with a stupid look on his face. So I drove home and looked up the Unilocal website to see what this business is all about. I see that the business has 4 great reviews. This surprised me based on what just occurred. Before giving a bad review I decided to call the business and attempt to speak to Doug who was mentioned in other reviews as being such a great representative of the business. I called around 1:30 pm and a male answered who identified himself as «Doug» but quickly asked if I could hold. I advised that I would and was placed on hold. I waited for 10 minutes before giving up and hanging up. It’s too bad because I had every intention on advising Doug what had earlier occurred and giving him a chance to make it up and treat me like a valued customer.
Now, I don’t even know if I would have even gone to this establishment for repair or not because I never got a chance to even speak to anyone for an estimate. I do know that first impressions are everything and I was not impressed.
I will take my Jeep somewhere else. Somewhere that appreciates its customers and takes steps to show them that their business means everything to them. This business needs to remember that a business has to have customers if they are to remain in business. Today, this business might be on top of the world but who knows what tomorrow will bring them.

Had a fantastic experience with Doug and getting our Tahoe’s front end fixed. He went above and beyond throughout the whole process especially when it came to finding the same grill we had on there that was damaged in the accident. He made the process as stress free as possible and was great with communication throughout. The work was very well done and we are pleased with the outcome. If the need arises again will absolutely use them again.

I’ve taken my car that was in an accident (not my fault) twice and I’ve only had stellar results. I see that they take all insurances, which always guarantee that they are busy and in high demand. Both times, there was absolutely no hassle. I didn’t even have to pay my deductible until after the work was done. Very impressed by Doug and Dave’s professionalism. They are really nice people who care about their clients. They are successful because they treat their employees right, customers right, and support the community. I don’t know a body shop I would rather go to — anywhere in the world. They stand by their work 100%, so if something goes wrong down the road, they’ll take care of it no questions asked.
Your car may not be ready by the next day, but when you do get it, it will be done right and you’ll see no difference from how it previously was to how it is now.
