Yucaipa Dog & Cat Grooming

My first time here and I’m extremely pleased! My babies look so good and were very well taken cared of! They were detailed and noticed things before I had to tell them. One of my doggies has very dry skin, the groomer went out of her way for her as well as my other doggie that is a pug and sheds like crazy the groomer went ahead and did a deshed on her. Thank you very much for taking care of my fur babies I will definitely be back!

I gave these folks every opportunity to do the right thing. After not following instructions for grooming my 5 year old Mini Schnauzer, I gave them another chance. Then he was burned from them clipping too close on his neck and he was scabbed up and miserable. I let them know my disappointment, then gave them another shot. He was subsequently injured again.
Their customer service isn’t bad, but I’d rather pay a jerk to groom my dog who was capable of doing his job. I think they get young adults in there to do the grooming who have no training or experience which results in unhappy customers. The company has potential, but I’m done giving chances.

Horrible experience. This is the first time our 7 mo old catahoula mix has gone to a groomer. He has a good temperament and has been boarded in the past without incident– they loved him. I called and made an appt w/​Tiffany who let me know it would be a few hours for a bath and tidy — nails were our main concern but we wanted him to be pampered. She said the girls would spend some time with him and get to know him. Well, we walked in and were not on the schedule. The receptionist was nice, but not overly dog friendly. The place smelled like poop and wasn’t very inviting. But the reviews I read were good so I thought I should give it a chance. The girl didn’t really pet my pup or say much to him, she just took him straight to a cage. She said he would be done around 2pm and they would call me — it was 10:30am. At 2:15 I went back — never received a call. She said he wasn’t done yet — I asked how he did. They hadn’t done his nails yet and were in the middle of washing him. After 4 hours! She said he was cage shy — I told her that surprised me because he sleeps in a kennel every night! He’s also been boarded — no incident. But she said he growled at her so she opened the kennel door and let him come out on his own and he seemed to be fine then. He is the friendliest puppy so I was very confused. Social with people and dogs alike. They still had to dry him and do his nails so she asked me to return in 30 minutes. I said I could wait but she seemed to discourage it. When I returned in 30 MORE minutes, he was STILL not done. The receptionist said the groomer was unable to finish the nails. Then I hear a loud voice from the back screaming «I refuse to do your dogs other 3 paws. He flipped out and shit everywhere!» She never came out to speak to me face to face. Obviously they did NOT get familiar with my puppy. If the dremel upset him why didn’t they use regular clippers!!! He smelled good, but has one red irritated eye — it’s been like this since yesterday– obviously she got soap in his eye! We are a little concerned about the redness and swelling — if it doesn’t look better tomorrow we will take him to the vet. The clincher was they still charged me full price even though they didn’t do a complete job!!! Ohhh, they did give the first time customer discount, but I still feel like I paid for a job that wasn’t done — and a traumatized dog to boot. The groomer gal was so angry in the back I even left a tip because I felt bad — and she was cleaning up with «toilet paper» — which leaves me wondering how sanitary this place is.
When we brought him home, my son and I did cut his other nails — but probably not as well as a pro would. Our pup was so traumatized from the experience at this place he cowered under our office desk for 2 hours!!! We had to love him up and give him treats and reassure him to get him to come out and make him feel secure again. I feel HORRIBLE for ever taking him there!
I will tell everyone I know NOT to take their dog to this place. If you cant work with puppies and can’t handle speaking to the owner then you shouldn’t be in this business !!! Shame on you!!! I’ve worked with dogs my whole life, OWN my own business here in town and would NEVER speak to a customer like that!!!
Do yourself and your dog a favor — go to Uptown Pets for your trim and Pet Scene for your wash!!!

They take pride in their work! We have a large older malamute and they do an amzong job with him. He comes home smelling great, super soft and rejuvinated (he thinks he’s a pup again)… Other places can’t clean him the way that they do.

They gave my kitty a lion cut and he came home happy and looking great! I appreciate the time and care they took in grooming him being that cats can be sensitive to being bathed and being around other animals. Their first priority is his safely and comfort. I will be bringing him back in soon! As a long haired kitty he is happier groomed and clean and they do a wonderful job of that!

I love this place! I come from Arizona to visit my family. And have to bring my Cocker spaniel to this place they are wonderful amazing not only that they actually know my dog is from out of state they make very personable. They do an awesome job!’

I have tried pretty much every dog grooming place in Yucaipa. I have now taken my 14 and ½ year old toy poodle here twice. They do a very good job. I like the fact that they will pick up and deliver your dog back to you if you request. The groomer who groomed my dog is friendly and listens to exactly what I tell him I want done. I have none taken her here twice and I am extremely pleased. For an older dog, she is well taken care and I don’t worry about her at all when she is here.

Once again I am 100% percent satisfied! They pick my dog up and give her a bath and nails cut she has never smelled or looked better her coat shines! She even seems happier! And they drop her off and I don’t even have to be home they will put her safely back in my backyard. I won’t go anywhere else for the value and how great of a job the do. Highly recommend!!! Almost forgot to mention how wonderful he is with my dog also she really likes him.

I had my dog groomed here and was very pleased. The price was good too!

We take our 2 cats here and they both get a lion cut. They do a good job. They get a bath and then shaved like lions and when we pick them up they each get a spray of cologne and smell wonderful :)

I would give this place zero stars after this experience. I picked up both of my chihuahuas around 6pm, after it took them over 3 hours to groom two little dogs… And paid, and left. My smaller dog kept me up ALL night crying and trying to lick her butt. I called the groomer as soon as they were open to ask them why her butt was so red and irritated. The man told me that he FORGOT to talk to me when I picked them up. He said the little one was impacted when he tried to do her anal glands. How do you just forget to mention that!!! I’m very aware of chihuahuas issues with anal glands… And they’re groomed regularly. Not only is my dog in what looks like awful discomfort, he didn’t even talk to me about his «findings». Needless to say, I will never have my dogs groomed here again. I could’ve taken my dog to a vet yesterday!!! Now I’m spending my one morning off calling different vets to try to get her seen…

When we picked up our mini schnauzer after a routine grooming he was so badly scraped and burned over his whole belly area that it took a month for him to heal. If you love your pet, do not go here.
