Wir hatten einen sehr angenehmen Aufenthalt. Die Besitzer sind sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. So bekamen wir sogar Frühstück, obwohl wir eine halbe Stunde verspätet waren.
Es gibt einen Pool und einen Hot Tub (Whirlpool). Letzteren konnte ich auch abends benutzen. Der Pool war war etwas zu kalt
Die Unterkunft eignet sich gut als Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge zum Joshua Tree National Park oder nach Palm Springs.

The manager assured me his rooms were better and cheaper than Best Western down the street… WRONG! $ 30 more, and WORSE!
After filling it up and getting in, the whirlpool tub didn’t turn on! I was SO MAD! I fixed the damn thing and felt a bit better, but got no compensation for my effort.
Then, try to sleep with sunlight-​bright fluorescent lights outside the room and glass block wall tiles beside the door with no curtains and only blinds on the huge picture window! Forget it!
I asked for a partial refund and was told to pound sand!
STAY AS FAR AWAY FROM HERE AS POSSIBLE!!!

My stay here has been amazing! Mr. Patel (the owner) is so sweet.!! I love the theme rooms! So amazing.!! Perfect for couple with Spas inside the room.!! The rooms are really clean.!! Everyone should come here, even if it’s just for one night

Worst service ever! We were put in a handicap room where 1) there was chip crumbs & empty bag underneath the couch 2) bathroom sink made crazy noises when you turn on the faucet like there was a major earthquake 3) the closet is full of stuff — unusable dresser & three suitcase racks 4) the tabletops were dusty like the room hasn’t been cleaned in 5 years and 5) the stove in the kitchenette is missing two knobs 6) kitchenette is completely empty of any utensils, cups plates etc.
The Indian management will keep calling you to see if your visitors have left. They also watch your every movement with their cameras so you don’t feel comfortable in the garden or pool (even though their kids play in the grounds in the morning). And they will charge you $ 11 if you don’t leave right at 11am!
They didn’t apologize to us for the dirty room or unusable bathroom sink. And they wouldn’t give us a discount because we used Hotels Tonight & already got a discount rate. Oh my bad! Seriously, spend your dollars somewhere else.

Great prices. A hidden mystery awaits in their various themed suites. If you feel like sleeping in a Forrest, but hate the outdoors, this is your place.

This place isn’t bad at all. The property was clean, the room was very clean. Shower got hot fast! It’s a good place to crash for the weekend. I have no complaints. Seriously not bad for 60 bucks for one night. Manager was friendly and helpful and gave us recommendations for our visit. I would definitely come back

I want to begin this review by saying that the only reason this motel gets two stars instead of one is that we didn’t get eaten by bedbugs or get scabies or anything. Since one is the lowest rating, and is reserved for places with like blood on the walls or infestations, this place gets two.
But just stay away! Dirty, outdated, with owners who seem to be confused about running a hotel. They were nice, I’ll give them that. But come on, clean your rooms properly and update! Stained bed covers, old carpet, weird kitchenette, moldy bathtub, dingy tiny threadbare towels. I hardly wanted to sit down when we first got there.
This whole place needs updating badly. I shudder to think what the «oasis» rooms look like. The lobby had dusty photos of some of them framed on the wall. Just no.

We stay here every time I go up to the high desert and to Pappy and Harriot’s. The owners are fantastic. Not only are they sweet they shuttle us up to the concert. I think they go the extra mile. Another great visit 10÷10÷15

Poor customer service taken to an absurd level…
From the get-​go my party and I got a weird vibe from the manager. Suffice it to say, it was painfully obvious that he didn’t care to do business with «our kind» of people. He appeared distrustful of us and was obviously uncomfortable with our being there.
That alone would not have warranted me to write any review whatsoever (good or bad), but the real kicker here was when he decided to lock us out of our hotel room while we were still checked in (most likely because he saw us hanging out by the pool with some people he apparently found even more unsavory). You heard me right, he changed the lock on our room. Obviously we demanded access to our room so we could retrieve our stuff and promptly get the hell out the next morning. He changed it back and claimed it wasn’t intentional, and yet another friend of ours who was also at the pool also discovered their keys mysteriously did not work upon getting back to their room in the evening. Coincidence?
I know what you’re thinking: «oh, well whatever I bet this dude was making a bunch of noise, trashing the place, etc… so he got what he deserved». I assure you that was not even remotely the case. I was part of a large group of musicians and music fans who were attending/​performing in a notable music festival in the area. Yes, we had long hair. Yes we had gear (which we did not play at the hotel). Yes, there was a lot of us (in separate rooms). But speaking for myself and my own party, we violated no posted rules and were decent responsible guests. We simply did not deserve to be treated so awfully.
Unbelievably rude — these people don’t deserve your business.

The odd thing is the night stands doors were tied and facing the wall the jacuzzi was not working which was the. main reason we chose this hotel. Room was clean and staff helpful

Look this place ain’t the Ritz (can’t speak for the themed rooms, never have experienced them). You get a standard room for probably the cheapest rate in that area. The AC works and the beds are comfy, plus you got clean running water. Oh, and on top of that there’s a pool. I’d give the rooms a C+ and the service a B+, don’t expect much but it’ll do the job and keep you comfy. You may see a water bug or two but let the management know and ask them to shave a few bucks off the bill. If I catch another show out in Pioneertown, or if I just need to crash while cutting through the desert, I’ll probably hit this place again.

Okay so this review is full of hilarious things… where to begin. The only reason we booked this place was for the spa rooms with the huge tubs. The owners of the place are in the front building where you check in, they’re interesting. They have a pool & jacuzzi that are open till like 10ish I think. The room itself wasn’t too shabby, just keep in mind this is NOT A FANCY hotel so don’t expect that. Definitely looked as if nobody had been in there in a long time, smelled kinda funky at first but went away after a little while. The AC took forever to actually cool down the room but it does work. The jacuzzi tub in the room was great though. I would suggest cleaning it before going in. Two people fit in them & all the jets worked. The pool was absolutely awesome because it was over 100 degrees outside! If you’re more interested in having a pool & cool working tub inside your room I would suggest checking this place out!

I have stayed here twice now. I always have a super late middle of the night check in. Room both times has been super clean, cheap and the staff very friendly. For the price it’s a great place to stay!

I had high hopes after seeing the website. The hotel looked great for the price. I booked a night for an $ 89 room. Called, Left name, cc# made a reservation.
When I arrived to hotel at 11pm expecting to check in, the guy at the front desk said he didn’t have my reservation. But luckily he had «ONE» empty unit for $ 140 (theme room) It was a total bait and switch. Since it was late on a Sat in JOSHUA TREE there were no vacancies to be found (I called around) Then the guy at the front desk said he’d give us a «good deal» $ 120. but online the price for theme rooms were $ 107! We haggled back and forth, but our hands were tied. We had no where else to go. He finally agreed on $ 90. then charged my credit card $ 99! At this point I kept waiting for Ashton Kutcher to jump out like I was being PUNK’D!
His one room «left» was a bunch of crap too. When we went to our room we saw many vacant rooms because the blinds were open. When we got into the room it was really dirty. I’m not being picky. Please look at the photos I uploaded. Under the TV unit were thick dust covered shelves. An old vacuum that was also dust covered. Which in itself is ironic. Under the bathroom sink was a dirty towel, a huge clump of hair and a soiled sock with a clump of hair. (insert barf noises here) I can’t believe they thought they could charge $ 140. I felt robbed. I should’ve stayed in my car. I felt lied to with the whole reservation thing.
I would not stay here again.
***spoiler alert** the rooms don’t really look like the photos on line. They look much newer, cleaner and spacious on line.

Cheap hotel, family run business, very polite and accommodating. Hotel was clean and small breakfast with coffee was offered every morning. Pool and hot tub open to all guests was a bonus. Maid service could use a little work. Very short drive to Joshua Tree national park! Overall a great stay, would use this hotel again if in Yucca Valley.

We stay here several times a year, each time we visit JTree. The rooms are clean and the prices are reasonable. We’ve tried all the inexpensive motels in the area and this one offers the best value. 42″ flat-​screen tv, free wi-​fi, easy on-​line reservations with a reasonable cancellation policy. The owners are very nice and seem to care a great deal about their business. I recommend the rooms in the front, or by the office.

My boyfriend and I stayed here — in the Jungle Room — and had an amazing time. The family that runs this joint is incredibly helpful, and their themed rooms are such a treat in the desert. Totally recommend Jungle and Cave for future guests. The room was clean, the in-​room hot tub worked perfectly (also I recommend you BYOBubbles) and we loved the family.

My husband and I called for a room… We were told it would be 60 for a room with a jacuzzi tub and to drive on down that «he would make us a good deal». We drove from 29 palms got there and then was told that «he never said that». Then he proceeded to tell us that other people had come since he last talked to us and that it would be 120.00. We were in complete shock that anyone could straight lie to your face and act like we were «crazy». These people are not trustworthy and 1 star is too much for anyone who has NO INTEGRITY! Do not trust these people!

Me and my husband recently stayed in one of the themed rooms, we had a great time!
The owners were nice and we’ll be back for sure and have recommended it to our friends.

I had a great experience at this hotel. The management was super friendly and accommodating and the prices can’t be beat. The rooms were clean and the pool area was great for the hot desert sun. The wifi worked great for all of us.
The owner is very friendly and will taxi you out to Pappy and Harriet’s (for a fee.) This a great place to stay for shows there or if you are coming or going out to Joshua Tree. Highly recommended.

We came here for the Woodsist festival and the room was exactly what we wanted, it was a nice clean room! Affordable and perfect for the occasion… The owners are nice and the area is nice as well! If I came back id stay at the same place!
