Specialties
The Pediatric Dentist is the specialist who is dedicated to the oral health of children from infancy through the teen-age years. The very young, pre-teens, and teenagers all need different approaches in dealing with their behavior, guiding their dental growth and development, and helping them avoid future dental problems. The pediatric dentist is best qualified to meet these needs.
Pediatric dentists have had special training, which allows them to provide the most up-to-date and thorough treatment for a wide variety of children’s dental problems. They are trained and qualified to treat patients with special health care needs. Because of this specialized training and commitment to comprehensive oral health, many parents wisely choose a pediatric dentist to treat their children.
Meet the Business Owner
Dr. Steve N.
Business Owner
My practice philosophy is to provide the best possible dental care for children in a friendly environment and to advocate for children’s welfare in any way that I can. I enjoy seeing children who might at first be afraid develop trust and a positive attitude towards us. After 34 years of continuous private practice, I still enjoy working with families every day and keeping children in good oral health. Many of my present patient are children of my past patient.
I graduated from Lynwood High School, completed my Bachelor of Arts at UC Riverside and then attended the Washington University School of Dentistry in St. Louis. After receiving my dental degree, I spent three years as a commissioned officer in the Indian Health Service and received my pediatric dentistry training at Harbor/UCLA Medical Center in Torrance.
I have been board certified and a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry since 1991 and recently was inducted as a Fellow into the Am College of Dentistry.
