Louie’s Grill and Bar

I’ve always liked Louie’s. Either for grabbing a lunch or dinner. Always friendly and the food is selection is just right. I got the Taco Salad and it was dee-​lish!

This place was ok. Food was super basic but the service was good. Lots of good service with the help. Again, the food was nothing to write home about — The buffalo wings were like super huge — I think they may have been on steroids — Loud with a wide screen on every square inch of the walls — Cute Service attendee’s! Avocado bacon burger is big and mine was cooked to perfection. The grilled lemon chicken was good. Sweet potato fries topped off the meal, yum. Server was nice but slow, and even though our debit cards clearly say «check ID», we weren’t asked for identification. On the plus side, we did get the veterans discount. Over all a good experience.

If you want a burger you can sink your teeth into, this is the place. I got the Double Down. It was juicy without being overly greasy and it was cooked just right. The bacon was thick and meaty and the fries were perfect. I can’t wait to go back and try some other sandwiches.

Friendly environment and great management. The food is amazing and cheap. Highly recommended.

Great salads, nachos and wings. Service is positive and consistent. Fish and chips is just ok. Everything else is good.

I had an avocado burger, it was really good. The sweet potato fries are delicious. The atmosphere is nicer than I expected, this was the first Louie’s I had been to. Service was average.

We dine here so often, they now know us and usually ask us if we’re having our «usual» drinks and food. Love the staff, food, atmosphere… great for family’s or girls night out.

This was my first time here and I was pleasantly surprised. The waitress was very friendly and efficient. We had a group of 7 hungary guys and were happy with the quantity & quality of our food.

Great food. Busy during peak times, but that is to be expected.

Ordered pizza and wings here for the first time, not too long ago. They messed up our order, gave us chicken tenders without the bone, instead of bone in. Finally got home, the pizza was terrible. But to my surprise, the wings, were WINGDINGS! If you have not had a wingding, you have not lived. I have been looking for these for YEARS! Thank you Jesus! AmAzInG! For that, you get 5 stars. Sooooo happy I found them!

The reviewer who said their sons chicken fried steak was delish has never had a real chicken fried steak. I ordered one take out and when I got home the plastic ramekin only had a spoonful of gravy and the chicken fried steak looked like it came out of a bag in the freezer and was not fresh. It is in my opinion when you pay $ 12.99 for a chicken fried steak you should get more than a spoonful of gravy to go on a frozen cf steak. Not exaggerating this steak was comparable to what you get at Grandys for less than half the price (actually I think Grandys tasted better). I usually get a burger (theta) when we go here but after this sad excuse of a meal I don’t know if we will be back anytime soon. I definitely felt cheated out of $ 12.99 on this deal.

We had a great meal! Wonderfully fresh and tasty– my club sandwich was perfect, and my son’s chicken-​fried steak was delish! We are planning on stopping in every time we pass through Yukon on our way to the folk’s in Texas!

Lov this place! I go at least 1 – 2 times a week. Lov the avocado burger. Had it today with steamed veggies. Lunch cards fill up fast for a free lunch with every six u buy! Everybody knows ur name or at least what I drink!

I want to like this place as much as everyone else, but for some reason I am just not a big fan. The food has always been good, and the waitstaff has always been friendly. I just can’t put my finger on why I don’t like this place. Maybe someday I will find that item on the menu that will convince me to want to come back again and again. For now the only time I eat here is when someone else just has to have it. I will say that you should not avoid this place just because I am not their biggest cheerleader.

Just another Louie’s! Fast and friendly service compared to some others. Burgers and Pizzas are all really good. I stand by the mushroom & swiss burger and Meat & Fire pizza! Happy Hour is always good with a descent beer special. I’ll more than likely be a regular since I live in the area…

Friday night crowd and noise was expected at a bar and grill. It made it clear that this is a popular choice for the locals. We enjoyed our queso, salsa, and chips. Quite tasty and lots of chips to go with the following generous portion of queso.
Our waitress was attentive and we never lacked for tea which to us is a big deal. We drink a lot of tea. When the food got here it was hot and pretty to look at. I of course made my husband wait to take a bite so that I could take a picture for you to see each dish.
His was spicy as was expected but for my wimpy taste buds that doesn’t take much. However, the heat on the southwestern chicken even made my husband take note. An accomplishment to be sure. The portions were so large that the man that can eat his weight in soups and chili’s could not finish his chili. In fact he barely tasted it. He was disappointed as we were not going to be able to keep it due to the evening’s plans.
I had the Baja fish tacos. Now I had never had fish tacos before tonight and let me tell you… I plan to have them again. The mango with the BBQ and the fish was a delight for the taste buds. The mix of sweet with tangy was surprisingly delicious. We were both totally full and happy as we headed out the door.
My only complaint would be how close the tables are together where we sat. Got up to go to the ladies room I felt like I was bumping everyone. I am a large lady though so that likely is true anywhere.

Yukon isn’t known for their epicurean scene. Other than Alfredo’s Mexican restaurant, there’s not much I like in terms of food in this town. Unfortunately, Alfredo’s was closed for the night and I missed my plane to go back home to Vegas, so I wasn’t in the best of moods. I guess I’d try Louie’s.
What a pleasant surprise! I had some incredible fish at this restaurant. I ordered the black bean salsa tilapia with a side of broccoli salad and potato soup. Literally, everything was great tasting!
I spent the night watching men’s gymnastics during the Olympics and eating great food. Can’t complain. I’d definitely go back!

I’m reviewing the drive up takeaway service here, but I can also attest that the dine-​in experience is great as well!
This is our go to post-​workout or any night we just can’t be bothered to cook and don’t want to go out. We both love the chicken tender salad and often get two to go. One of the waitresses recommended getting the chicken and cheese on the side when ordering to go and that is the best tip I’ve ever received. It keeps the lettuce from getting wilty, the cheese doesn’t melt on your way home, and you can choose how much cheese you add. The very best thing is that you call it in and in 15 minutes you pull up and they will grab your payment and hand you your food – perfection!
