Specialties

Classic American dishes served with our unique twist. Many of our items are a fusion of American dishes with southwest flare. We still make 90% our dishes from scratch and very little on our menu is frozen. Our fresh wings and homemade appetizers are always a hit. Burgers made in house, as well as many sandwiches and salads. Many delicious dinner courses to choose from, as well as a diverse build your own combo which is fast and popular at lunch. Fresh and made from scratch are the key words here, good portions, at a great value!

History

Established in 1988.

The Crossing Grill & Bar is a locally owned and operated business that celebrates the diverse history of Yuma being a pivotal crossing point of the migration west and the crossing of diverse cultures. Blending food and culture at the gateway of the great southwest!

Came here today for the first time to watch the NBA playoff game. We were greeted promptly by a very friendly server named Stephanie who provided us with awesome service. My husband ordered the wings and I ordered the Buffalo chicken salad. Our food was delicious and Stephanie made sure our drinks were filled!

We hosted a lunch after our son’s graduation last night from high school. The SERVICE Was VERY Good AND They were able to serve 16 individual dishes in a fairly good time frame. They provided cake plates and forks for a cake that we brought in. We didn’t get any kind of hassle for bringing our own dessert in. The servers and the hosts were surprised when we offered cake to them because of their hospitality. Perhaps this is not a common practice, butt we enjoyed the whole event. So, all in all I would recommend reserving these small room opposite the dining room if you had a crowd of less than 25 people and didn’t mind a lot of discussion and proximity.

A well rounded restaurant, it has a very eclectic collection on it’s menu. You want stir-​fry? They’ve got it. A thick hand cut steak? You bet. How about cajun shrimp fettuccine alfredo? Got that too.
It’s all good. Start with a plate of wings, and then watch the game while your friends arrive.

These guys have the one of the best beer selections in all of Yuma, it’s a huge and well done draft list. The bar is nice the service is great, an enjoyable experience is to be had here.

The owner already contacted me on a Sunday morning by Email though Unilocal and was very concerned about the experience we had at his restaurant.
I see The Crossing has 4 stars and a good reputation and we would normally write the experience off as another bad restaurant. Because the owner cared enough to contact us on a Sunday about a review from Fridays lunch we will try it again. Its nice to know that he cares enough to make sure I understand that no restaurant will ever be 100% perfection but he is trying. Because of that they may earn back our business. That to me says a lot and earns the restaurant one more star on my review.
I hope the original review remains on so people can see the outcome and see that the first time we ate there it was fantastic.

Excellent wings, if you want any drummettes you better ask for them. The plate we got was all the tips. When asked about the policy, we were told it was the luck of the draw if you didn’t slecify. The Buffalo Chicken salad was fresh and the chicken was cooked perfectly. Service was a but slow but it was lunch time.

Ate here again. Ordered some mild boneless wings for an appetizer. Very delicious. I also has the cheeseburger. Very tasty and filling. I forgot how thick they are. I am definitely a fan. Server was nice prompt, and attentive. I like it when the server checks-​up on you and you do not have to flag them down.

The food is okay. But I ordered Togo and when I called it in they said 30 minutes. It’s been 50 minutes and I’m still waiting… And when I asked I was told 10 more minutes.

I was meant to write this review a couple years ago but I’m doing it now. I was with my parents and we were on our way back to Cali from Texas. Anyways, we had a waitress named Paige. Very friendly lady. We ordered the 100 mild wings in a bucket. She also brought us some beer and checked up on our table frequently to see if we needed anything else. I would definitely come here again.

Went in tonight and was very impressed that they made the bar much bigger. Many more hard liquor drinks available and they added another 17 beers on tap putting them at 27 beers total on tap! Great to have a place like this on this end of town.

We were coming threw Yuma and always use Unilocal when in a new place and this place had 4 stars so off we go. I give the customer service 5 stars. Kept drinks full and checked on us 3 times. 4 stars on cleanliness. The food though was just ok. My husband had a burger. He ordered it medium and it came out well. We both had soup that was lacking flavor and seasoning. I had the beef stroganoff. The portion was large, but again the flavor was lacking. So, although customer service is huge for me, when the food is just ok it really isn’t worth it

The restaurant section of The Crossing is delightful although for me it is the up and coming sports bar in Yuma.
The patrons are friendly as are the staff. The menu is very good from appetizers to desserts.

I have always liked this place and tonight I remember why. The homemade battered fried mushroom appetizer is so good I forget to let them cool and burnt my mouth; yet again. The Chan Chan burger is awesome. I ordered medium rare and I received a juicy and very thick tasty burger. The avocado was perfect on it. The green leaf lettuce and red onion were crisp and fresh. The cold avocado sauce is a great alternative to mayo. The seasoned fries were crispy and hot.
I was alone and sat at the bar and ordered water. The bartender gave me great service even though i was alone and not ringing up a bar tab. I love that. They also changed the tv to the race for me. Yes! Parking in front or out back. Wifi if you like them on The FaceBook.

My burger was very disappointing. And the salad was just iceberg lettuce and just not very good.
Our server was friendly and kept our drinks full. But we won’t be back. The food was just not that good.

This is our new favorite place. We went eat here two days in a row and that is unusual especially for me.
We went there for late lunch and early dinner. So our food were served quicker than we thought.
Hamburgers were big but they are so good I had no problem finishing everything.
Gravy for meat loaf was really good!
And seasoned fries are our favorite.
Potato skins and ranch dressing are great!
Next time, I would like to try light menu if I’m not too hungry.
