Established in 2006.

Established in 2006 by three local booklovers whose motto is: «Leap and the net shall appear!». We specialize in a curated collection of new and used books and are committed to being Zebulon’s «third place» for our community.

Book lover, fugitive from the cold, snowy North, Chris settled in small town Georgia over 20 years ago. Horse owner, old house renovator, she wears several «hats»: psychotherapist with offices in Zebulon and Atlanta, bookstore owner, director of the Zebulon Downtown Development Authority and the Pike County Agribusiness Authority. Organizer and volunteer coordinator of the nationally-​ranked photography festival «SlowExposures» celebrating photography of the rural American South – this happens every year during the third week of September.

I am so proud that this wonderful bookstore is located in my hometown. I strongly encourage you to stop by if you’re in the area.
This store has set the benchmark for me with respect to independent bookstores. If I ever opened a bookstore, it would look alot like this one. There are so many attributes that I love about this store that I haven’t found anywhere else — not all in one place, at least. The staff is intelligent, friendly, and helpful. Their staff picks were impressive and very thoughtful. The building is beautiful and clean with nice furniture and a simple layout. The shelves are stocked with a great selection of new and used books. I would like to see more variety and depth in the inventory, but that takes time, and I trust that the staff is working on that. It is very organized, which makes it easy to search. The store is deeply involved in its local community and keeps distant customers updated via email. The prices were reasonable, especially with the credit discount. Free wifi, coffee, bargain table, the list of pros goes on and on.
I will definitely return every time I visit home. I hope they open more locations!
