So today I tried S.N.B.C. I truly wish I hadn’t. Unless you like sweet tomato soup on top of an improperly cooked piece of chicken, slimy baked beans made with shredded chicken no less!?!, and mini torpedoes made out of who knows what ingredients(I was told they are hush puppies). Needless to say we did not eat at all!!! Okay so now for the good: the ice water-The end. My suggestion for those of you human beings out there with even one taste bud in your mouth: if you haven’t eaten for days, weeks, months, or even years– die hungry my friends it’s worth it. Don’t put yourself through what I just went through at this establishment.

The best SCNB we’ve been to, that says alot! The BBQ is great, the coleslaw is like Ma’s, the hush puppies are classic, the potato salad is off the chain. This location is always clean and has great service. They surf the floor waiting for your drink to drop an inch before they immediately tackle you to refill, love it. The Manager I have a seen a few times is great with families and kids. He loves to draw on balloons and hand them out to kids. Only drawback I’ve had and the reason we do not go more often is the cost for the food. A family of four can be costly on a modest budget.

Great food and staff. Staff goes above and beyond for you while you are there. Great drive thru service as well.

This was my first time at this particular Smithfield. My family and I came here after visiting my grandmother at the hospital in Greenville, NC. Like most of the Smithfields I visit, the staff were extremely friendly and the restaurant was clean. Even the customers were friendly but would do you expect in NC. I would definitely return for my iced tea and BBQ sandwiches.

I always cringe a bit when I go past a Smithfields; it looks a bit like a good idea made a bit too«commercial». But the restaurants never fail to please, and the sink beside the garbage can is a really thoughtful idea. I mean, who wants to go back to their car with greasy fingers? The staff are friendly and there’s always those tempting pieces of pie around the cash register begging to be bought and scarfed down …

The employees are super friendly. Smithfield’s is fast food barbecue, yummy for fast food. I got the barbecue sandwich platter with fries and tea. Free refills on tea and they come around and ask you if you need anything and refill your cup. The fries are skinny and crisp. My sandwich was good with coleslaw and no fatty pieces in the barbecue. As a plus they have hot sauce and high fructose free Heinz ketchup on all the tables. For fast food and if you like barbecue and fried chicken I would recommend. The eating area is really clean, too.
