Callie’s Coffee Bar and Cafe

I used to think the near by soul food place had the slowest service possible. I was wrong. Over twenty minute wait for runny eggs. Not just runny yolks but rumny whites. Served on wrong type of bread.

Hard to rate the food when I have yet to see it. I’m underwhelmed at having been given a paper cup to self-​service coffee. There is a very cute shop here but ungodly slow service. Who knew pancakes were so complicated?
Edited after food arrived. My pancakes were good. My husband tried the «holy eggs bat man». It was A raw egg sandwich with cheese. Disgusting! The waitress did adjust our bill, because of the undercooked eggs. Stick to their pastries.

You really won’t regret stopping here! The staff is outstanding! It shows that not all of their baristas are very knowledgable when it comes to making coffee but I promise it will never be unsatisfying. I am just really picky when it comes to making coffee. They have one barista in particular that is very passionate about her work and will leave you feeling overly satisfied. She treats everyone like she’s been her best friend for years! Without Riley, this place would lose a lot of its spunk and compassion. This place does not shy away from the less fortunate, but rather extends a helping hand. They are one of the few coffee shops, maybe the only coffee shop, in this area that cares about quality. In my book, quality is key. They use monin syrups and intelligencia beans, yum yum. I don’t specifically know what kind of chai they use but it’s really good if you get it dirty;) The chef here makes amazing food and is very charming. They have a wonderful selection! They always have amazing music on which creates a fun and welcoming ambiance. I’m really bummed that they don’t have as many local artists selling here because I bought my favorite pair of knit slippers here when they first opened and now they have holes in them because I wore them so much. Their gift selection is still cute and unique! I also want to mention that they have gelato and oh my gosh, if you knew what was good for you you would come here and order a scoop of gelato and get espresso over it. Ughhh so good. P. s. This is a cute and unique boutique, coffee shop, and café. The drinks are delicious and customer service is amazing! The atmosphere is very relaxing. You can browse and shop for gifts like jewelry, accessories, home décor, and clothing while you order drinks and food. The desserts are all made in house. I had a raspberry Italian soda while my friend had an iced aloha coffee drink which was made with white chocolate, chocolate, coconut, and coffee. My sister had the dirty snowflake. Needless to say everything was delicious and we will be returning.

My daughter and I stopped in this store today while walking down Sheridan. Every one of the people were amazing. The owner spent a lot of time with my daughter and really made her feel special. And my daughter found a perfect owl bracelet that’s like nothing she’s ever seen. We didn’t get to enjoy any of the food but really loved the shop and the people. Can’t wait to return.

Stopped here while visiting from out of town. I Unilocaled coffee shops & found this cute place. Very cozy coffee/​wine/​food place with retail. They have tables scattered amongst the retail area but it works & is funky/​colorful. Artsy with clothing, jewelry, purses & décor for sale. I stopped by to get some coffee for my mom & a cup of Merlot to go for me :) They serve food & gelato but I didn’t buy any so I can’t review that. But it’s a nicely decorated place in a small town & has a good vibe. The girl working there was pleasant.
