Business Addresses for those that work out of their homes and want to secure privacy of their residential addresses. Great for the appartment owner collecting rents! Our address always come with the ability to give a signature to the carrier. We also have a call in service. Need to know if you have mail, just call.

We specialize in international mailing and shipping. There are many in’s and out’s of international shipping. If you need to ship overseas call us. Before you buy that present to go to that relative or friend overseas, call us to see about restrictions.

History

Established in 1989.

We started as a Mail Boxes Etc. and remained that until UPS bought the franchise in 2001. In 2003, UPS changed the branding and business model. At our renewal of our Franchise in 2010 we decided not to renew or convert to the new branding, but to rather strike out on our own as a completely independent business, The Ship Station Plus. It is truly liberating! We have made changes and after 22 years it is still interesting and fun. We do problem solving, that is our job.

Meet the Business Owner

Cathy G.

Business Owner

I have lived all over the US, working and following my husband as he got his education and started his career. I have always been a working mom and even though things we hectic at times, I have enjoyed both hats, business woman and mother.

In 1982, my husband took a position at the Chicago Medical Center and our family moved to Illinois. We live in the far northern suburbs and few jobs were available. I originally went into business with a woman that I managed a gas station for. There was unused space and a need for the services we provided. My partner and I started Mail Boxes. The first 10 years I managed the Gas Station, and also ran Mail Boxes.

In 2000, I bought my partner out of the business and the rest is history.

My children are now grown and gone. I am a avid genealogist, and also garden and cook. I have an interest in photography and when I retire (laugh) I want to take some classes and home my skills.

I love what I do.
