History
Established in 1983.
Since 1983, we have grown from one man working out of a truck to a fully staffed business. We are home to over 40 employees whom we know very well and respect. We have employees that have been with us since the start, and others who have been here 15 – 25 years. We don’t have a high turnover. When we hire a new member to our team, we plan on keeping them for the long haul. Plus, we don’t use subcontractors. This helps ensure that your system is being installed or maintained by an employee who cares about you and your home. Bottom line, when we say «Where We Care About You and Your Air», we truly mean it. We aren’t in this for the quick fix and a «see ya later». We want make sure you are taken care of honestly and ethically. Whether you’re planning on being in your home for a few years or for a lifetime, let Control Tech be your partner in quality heating and air conditioning service. If you ever have any questions or concerns, call me!
Sincerely, Alan Winters
Meet the Business Owner
Alan W.
Business Owner
I grew up in a small town called Advance, Indiana before calling Zionsville «home» in the early 1970’s. Advance is a large farming community and this is where I learned that treating people right will get you further in life. Working on the farms with my grandfather at a young age taught me the responsibility of an honest days work. At the age of 9, I started helping my father, who was already in the HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning) field. That was when crawlspaces were fun! After graduating Zionsville High School in 1973, I went right to work as an HVAC service technician. I worked for several different companies prior to starting Control Tech in 1983. Some good, some bad. What I learned from the bad one’s was that honesty and integrity were things that they didn’t have and didn’t care about. The good ones saw the value in taking care of their customers ethically and building a relationship. If you ever have any questions, please call me!
