Not sure why this place is empty at six pm on Saturday evening. In guessing its the musical accompaniment. Instrumental only versions of «how can l live without you«, «killing me softly«and«my heart will go on «, what can only be the best of Kenny G, a version of Chariots of Fire, and other music that is as tasteless as the dumplings. Will only be coming back if I’m drunk enough to forget this unremarkable experience.

quick.dumpling. fix! cheap, fast service and relatively easy to get a table around the clock. BUT do not expect fireworks of flavor. they do a solid job though. good veges with oyster sauce.

To preface this review… «Xiao» in Chinese is pronounced«shao», so «Xiao Ting Box» sounds like«Shouting Box». That is all. My friends and I stumbled onto this place on our quest for dumplings. Pros: ~ The dumplings were REALLY cheap! I’m talking around 8 bucks of a plate of fresh dumplings. ~ Their menu has a lot of variety. I have only tried the dumplings here, but they had other dishes for cheap prices as well: 7 dollar plate of noodles, etc. Cons: ~ The Xiao Long Bao were a massive disappointment. No juice inside, really flimsy. As far the dumplings, they were okay. I’ve definitely had better, but they’re not that bad especially for how much they cost. Overall, I wouldn’t be super keen to come here again. I love dumpllings and reserve myself for only the best. But if I’m running low on cash and want some cheap Chinese food, this is the place.
