If you have all morning to wait for a coffee then this is the place for you! I’ve been in this place twice for coffee. It was not in the least bit busy on both occasions. The first time took an age to get a cofffee. The second time I ended up walking out as I couldnt wait any longer. Nor was I impressed that one of the staff members was attempting to place a too-full but artfully designed cappucino on a saucer with one hand and attempting to view Snapchat on her phone with the other! Whilst the other staff member was angsting over where to place the cocoa dust on the other ! Two staff members pfaffing around with the cocoa powder and artfully designed coffees… zzzzzzzz A bit tooo casual and waaaaay tooooooo sloooooowww! Which is such a shame as the décor is fantastic and the menu looks great.

Excellent service, so many options for seating(bar, tables, inside/outside), amazing menu(took so long to decide), and such a cool, calm vibe. I had the pumpkin, blue cheese, and caramelized onion pizza which was divine! Perfect choice for groups and kid-friendly. Go check it out!

What a great set up. Aesthetically. One reviewer referred to the place as an alcove. More like a gymnasium. It’s actually quite large. Beautifully presented. Drinks were fine. Their beer options are decent. Service. Despite being almost empty on a Saturday afternoon, the staff were stone cold. This worries me as the place is so new, disconnected from the rest of the city, and obviously hasn’t taken off yet. Life your game guys or you’ll be gone in a flash.

Pretty good hot chocolate adds to a range of other great drinks. Hot chocolate was hot and creamy and the amount of chocolate was strong enough without being too sweet. They also do an excellent long black over ice which is perfect for sunny warm days

Very swish bar/tapas /pizza venue. Lovely staff but not super attentive. Wine list looks very good. We didn’t try the food but it looked nice.

East of Norman — a wonderfully decorated alcove in Ergo Apartments, aptly named as its on the east of Norman street. Perhaps it was a bit quiet on a Sunday afternoon, but the finishings and furniture inside made up for it. Gorgeous brass copper chairs and intricate glasses showed there was attention to detail. The food was reasonably priced and portions were quite generous. They were, however salty throughout the pizzas and the burgers. Not sure if the chefs went a bit salt crazy or that’s just how they are, but the salt content left everyone a bad taste in their mouths towards the end. Lastly the staff couldve been friendlier, it was quiet enough in there that they should more a bit more courteous with everyone. All in all, lovely place, noce décor but the food was a bit of a let down.
