First time visit saw me trying the potato noodles, and I am glad I did! What a brilliant dish! I am now an addict and can’t wait to have this meal again! Yum! Being a Korean foodery, most menu dishes are really spicy, but the potato noodles are just perfect! You must try them!!! Service was fast, friendly and efficient, with very reasonable sized portions. I would most happily return.

I think Gochuzang is the best korean cuisine in adelaide! I think the best one is bibimbap(no.1) and fried rice cake which is amazing. Also they have free beef tea which is outstanding. So if you want to try Asian/korean cuisine visit GOCHUZANG for mouth watering, tasty food! Plus they have customer card, you eat something and they will give you a stamp and on 12th stamp you get free food(i got some before). Last thing i want to share is that they have good, cheap drinks, very clean kitchen, great services and great food. You should certainly try them.

Definitely nice and friendly service! Not common to see in the Renaissance Arcade food court. And since the place is so small, I can see their kitchen from where I stand, they cook my food right after I ordered— fresh made! In their clean tidy kitchen, while the same time I saw the chef in sizzling house next door was pouring some unknown oil from a wok into a small plastic pail(not that kind for food!) So… Gochuzang has won 3 stars already for its clean environment. But unfortunately the pork&kimchi stew I ordered was not that good, I thought it’s a classic Korean cuisine and prepared to be surprised. And I did, the portion of it surprised me, it was quiet small that I even doubt I spilled some on my way home. But anyway you couldn’t ask too much for a stew plus rice for only $ 10. Dot even mention they sell Lipton tea for only $ 2.5 and other soft drinks for $ 1.5! Although one of the«sizzling stone chicken barbecue bibimbap» looks good on the menu. I’m going to try that and hope it could make me update to a better rating.

The guy wearing sunnies(yes indoors), a beanie and a constant bright smile that stretches across his face is there basically 99% of the time serving customers. He just adds a real comical relief and fun to the little humble Korean stall. Ran by Koreans and for Koreans and non-Koreans alike this place sets out to serve real, hearty authentic Korean dishes at cheap lunch time prices and it does it oh so well. It’s quite popular among both university students and business types alike. Bibimbap, ddeokbokki, and jigae(spicy tofu soup and it is the best during the cooler seasons and when you’re down with a cold) are my favourites. Servings are generous and all flavours are clean and authentic. it’s close to my campus as well so it’s convenient as well as being cheap and I can always get a guarantee to receive a hot, hearty, tasty meal. What more does a university student(or any other hungry diner) need?

This might be my favourite place to eat in the city. A spicy chicken bibimbap passes my lips at least twice a week and with their free«beef tea» and lashings of spicy red sauce on top it is always a hit. Made fresh and within 5 minutes it’s a great way to get some spice in your life. Highly recommended!

Among the many varied Asian delights in the Renaissance Arcade Food Court is this small place serving traditional Korean Dishes. I’ve had a couple of their dishes, the Sweet Potato Noodles, an interesting glassy noodle with some good flavours and a pork bone soup with rice, a spicy broth with hunks of Pork bones to pick clean. Certainly flavours nothing like their Chinese neighbours but over all very tasty.
