Very pleasant and affordable lunch. The roast port Bahn Mi was $ 5.80 and it’s location in Adelaide Central Plaza makes it a convenient place to grab a coffee as well, Plus free wifi in ACP! Free Wifi, affordable lunch, coffee = tick tick tick :) plenty of space to set up a lap top and get your work done.

Good fresh Vietnamese food at a reasonable price. Tried the combination roll for $ 6.80, packed with meat.

It was an unexpected turn of events that led me to jarn leva… i ran into my fiancé out the front of DJs on a casual lunch walk at lunchtime and even though i had my heart set on Miss Mai, the better half said JL was worth a crack so i let her lead the way :-) There’s definitely a benefit to being in the food hall of a really nice department store… the seating in and out in front of JL looks swanky as does the interior of the shop. There’s not much else I want to say about a quick and easy lunch here. The food is pretty good, the pork had a decent crackle, but of course there wasn’t enough heat/chilli. Woe is me haha. At $ 5.80 per banh mi, this is on the competitively priced side of vietnamese rolls in Adelaide. .maybe enough to get my frugal butt back there next time i have a hankerin’! Good work JL! Keep it up :-)

Late lunch visit saw me try here for the first time. From the time I entered the store to the time I left, the service was very friendly and happy and the food was great also — I tried a combination Bun bowl — full of noodles, fresh vegetables, meats and a zingy sauce to pour on top, as you please. For $ 15.50(food and small can of drink) it’s great value, and I will certainly return to try the other menu offerings. My only complaint is that it can be very hard finding a table to sit and eat at during the lunch rush. Definitely a great addition to the Adelaide lunch scene! Well worth recommending!

Cold rolls were nice — quite fresh and light, and the peanut sauce was tasty, just a wee bit too sweet for my liking. The Prawn bun was good as well; crispy veggies and a fluffy bun, even though it was topped with the same peanut sauce. A decent lunch — nothing more or less.
