First time visit saw me ordering a freshly made sandwich and a cold drink, both of excellent quality! I’m more than happy to recommend this lunch venue and will happily and regularly return!

Nice little sandwich shop snuggled away off the street surrounded by a few buildings, so very quiet and all under cover, consequently it is cool in the really hot weather and covered from the rain. Always very fresh and tasty ingredients in the sandwiches; a fair range of drinks and pretty reasonable prices. They do cater for groups as in platters and finger food all at pretty competitive prices. Some outdoor seating but they don’t really encourage you to hang around and eat, it’s more of a pick up spot. You can check out their website then email your lunch order from work, which is very cool, and once they get to know you a little they are much friendlier than they are if you have just blown in from the street. It is not an exclusive club, but there are some slight shades of that, particularly if you are disheveled, dirty or funky… a bit less than tidy. I think the women behind the counter are really very nice, don’t get me wrong; the word officious does come to mind sometimes, but I actually like that in a sandwich shop myself personally. There’s not much worse than being in a shop like this waiting for someone to finish their chatty catch up session with the customer whom they haven’t seen since yesterday lunch time before they will so much as look at you. I usually exit stage right and go somewhere else if the session lasts more than a few minutes, and that dear reader is exactly why I know so many really good spots in the city to get a good feed at reasonable price without too long a wait! The cleanliness and freshness of the place indicates very well that there’s no messing about here — it is clean it smells clean and it is always spotless, even when it is really busy.
