Even though they open as early as 4:30am, Patrik’s service is always fantastic with promptly and well-​made coffee — and no extra charge for different milks etc. Loads of parking on this wide street.

Fuel espresso is by far one of the greatest little coffee shops in the Annerley-​Greenslopes area. It truly puts a meaning to great coffee.
Patrick the owner of Fuel Espresso is by far one of the kindest and welcoming gentlemen in the business. He provides his customers with a great coffee experience and is a pledge to the industry.
Fuel Espresso is one of the cheapest coffee shops in Brisbane and is not cheap on the flavour. Selling at this spot is a range of beans, and snacks, as well as delicious sweets and savoury food items. The coffee prices are cheap and he doesn’t charge any extra for extra shots of coffee, or syrups which is unheard of in any other coffee store in the area.
Fuel also offers a membership service where with your phone, you can scan a QR code in store and gradually earn your way to a free drink! I highly recommend Fuel for its service and quick preparation on coffee. It’s a great little business and I can’t wait to see it only expand!
P.S try the Hazelnut Latte, you won’t regret it!

This place has crazy hours. I doubt it’s opening time of 4:30 AM will ever be of much benefit to me. On the other hand, they are open Sundays (rare for a suburban café) and even most public holidays.
The coffee is well made. There is a pretty slim food menu. Staff is basically the owner, who lives next door: a bit brusque in his manner but basically friendly. At the hours I’m there, one often finds a dog or two outside and some children bouncing about. A nice neighborhood vibe.

Dropped into Fuel Café for an early morning pre-​work breakfast replacement coffee. Ordered ourselves a large mocha, which was delivered by the friendly barista in a pretty good turn around time and tasted pretty decent. Unfortunately not a lot to order as far as food goes (no croissants or anything I would deem as breakfastish) but as a coffee house, can recommend.
