It was perfectly fine. It doesn’t have a very interesting menu, pretty staple breakfast foods. I had the avocado/halloumi dish and added a poached egg for $ 2 so came to around $ 19. The meal was fine, it wasn’t that big, and it was tasty but just one of those meals where you’re like I could have made this at home. To me it was a nice but unmemorable meal.

I’ve been going there for years and I still love to go there from time to time. They do great coffees, their menu is varied and will cater for everyone’s needs. On weekends, they tend to have specials which are always interesting and tasty :) it is a great place to go to on weekends, with friend and/or family! Being in Aplecross village, it is a short walk to the river where you get a nice view of the city and a great parc for all creatures and humans, big and small. And Applecross harbors beautiful streets of Jacanranda trees adding a charm to the scenery especially when the trees are in flower! FYI: they also have a coffee shop that opened in Booragoon Shopping Centre. Good for a coffee break after a bit of shopping ;)

I was disappointed with my breakfast today(5th February 2015). I ordered the scrabbled eggs with feta and corn, with toast. My meal took a while to come out, which is fine, but it looked like my food had been thrown onto the plate. If you look at my friend’s dish in the background, it was beautifully presented. Whilst the food itself tasted ok, the eggs were swimming in liquid and the herb salad did not go so well with the dish. Fresh lettuce and spinach would have been better. The price did not match the quality. I really want to give them another try. It is a shame this one did not hit the mark today.

Love love love the home made cakes and slices. The coffee is great and the service is friendly. The lunch & breakfast menu changes around and there is always something yummy. Relaxed.
