You’d think that if you were a café on High Street Armadale — where there is an abundance of choices — you’d be conscious about having a great menu, exceptionally different food, aromatic coffee and second-to-none service. Oskawhyte lacks all of these things. We went for breakfast. Their menu? Boring Coffee? I couldn’t even drink the full cup. Service? Absolutely shocking. Waitress was rude and had no clue what to do while management sat a few tables away chatting loudly and shouting at staff. There is no décor and the café is not very well presented. Oskawhyte was snobby without reason. However, I have seen today the place is under new management… not sure how recent this is so stand by.

Place rating: 4 Melbourne, Australia
Oskawhyte is one of the many restaurants that have combined that modern Australian with International cuisines. It works here. They’ve made it really relaxed and have made a perfect place to have lunch with a group, one-on-one or just on your own. The menu is really tasty with great seafood and vegetable items. It’s healthy and appealing where it’s hard to walk out disappointed. The relaxed atmosphere is definitely encapsulated by the waitresses that are casual but professional, which is exactly how you want it. There’s no pretentiousness, especially on a street that is a little notorious for the«picky high class» of Melbourne. There’s no discrimination here. Nothing but welcoming faces where it is a fantastic place all round.
