This well present place is situated on the the main strip in Ascot, Racecourse Road. Picking a sandwich from the glass counter isn’t what I normal do but I wanted something quick and easy. And I’m so glad I did. It was delicious!!! And had me left wanting more. The chicken, walnuts and aioli toasted sandwich was something like no other. Nuts in a sandwich is a first for me, but it went together so well. Coffee was good, a little more vanilla would have made it perfect. Lots on the menu from breakfast to lunch including gluten free options. Beers. spirits and wines are also available. Staff are young but polite. Prices a little on the high side, ranging between $ 6 — $ 19.

I visited the Journey Café and Bar with family to celebrate my father’s birthday. I rang ahead of time and was able to book for breakfast for a larger group. They were quite accomodating of everyone’s needs, in consideration of there being two kids under the age of 3. They had colouring in pages and pencils. There was quite a variety of breakfast options. I went for the Canadian Breakfast, which was very filling.
