The Red Estate Story

Growing up with my parents and siblings on a Mission School property right next to a coffee plantation near the foot hills of Yangoru in the East Sepik Province of Papua New Guinea, I had no idea I would one day be so passionate about the sustainability of coffee origins and the lives of the hands it passes through on its journey from the farm to your cup.

The name was inspired by all things red in the wide world of food and beverages, from the red coffee cherries which splash vibrant colour across the estates of Central and South America, Asia, and the Northern parts of the African continent and equally by the relatively undiscovered ‘red bush’ tea estates along the West Cape of South Africa, to the finest boutique reds from historic vineyards across Australia, including Clare Valley which was founded by my ancestors in South Australia.
