The team at ‘The Local Trade’ are so welcoming and friendly! Great food! An honest hard working family run business doing their best to feed and supply good coffee to the local area! We have been coming here since they opened and have never been disappointed with the quality or service and the food. This place has great warm, homely vibes but be warned it can get a little packed inside when they are busy. and no, we are not related! :P Highly recommended! #TellThemTheSnobSentYa Instagram: @YourLocalSnob

The Hills is totally upping their brunch game! These guys were such a surprise for the area. Serving up Toby’s Estate Coffee, instantly got my attention. We came here after the 50 km Spring cycle bike ride and we were in need of our post workout coffee and feed! The first sip of that skim piccolo was almost emotional lol was craving coffee real bad Then our meals came out! I ordered the grilled salmon on a bed a farm fresh vegetables. Which was so cool my carrots were the organic purple and yellow type. Slightly too much oil dressing on the veggies but otherwise a beautiful dish. The BF hooked up the wagyu burger with truffle fries… Aww truffle fries… I love you! I had a couple of bites if my dish looked up to check on the bf and the burger was inhaled! Needless it was awesome! Interiors was pretty, spacious and fresh and kid friendly as there a fenced play ground opposite.

I have heard amazing things about this place — specifically how awesome the food is. When i walked up to the Local Trade, I was disappointed to see that they serve Toby’s Estate coffee. I hate Toby’s Estate coffee. So, as I have given this place 4-stars this means that the food is awesome! And it was! First, you have to love any café that does any all day breakfast… but even with that their lunch menu is awesome. One of my favourite things is the pulled pork roll with pickled carrots. Not going to lie, the only problem is the fries. But everything else is soooooo good! If you don’t feel like lunch then the Eggs Benny is amazing! And don’t get me started about the milkshakes — heaven in a glass! Now if you are looking for a view or nice location, sadly this place is in a shopping centre. But don’t let that stop you the food here is fantastic. And the service here is also quite goods. And for all the parents out there, there is a kids play area right outside the café, so you can watch your kids and have a nice meal.

Great food, relatively average speed between ordering food and receiving it, and overpriced drinks. The food is really quite good, ranging from toasts with vegemite to delicious bacon and egg burgers that are all presented nicely. In terms of time between ordering and receiving food, its nothing bad, but not quick either, nothing to complain about. The drinks however, a ridiculously overpriced. While all freshly squeezed, the juices are way too expensive. The milks and coffees etc are also expensive, but are made by a Barista so its slightly less outrageous. All in all its a decent place to have a meal.

New place, nice décor, however… Had to argue with staff over what an iced latte was, they confused it for iced coffee, also don’t serve the basics for kids such as a sandwich. Even banana bread comes with maple syrup and mascapone cheese on it. Trying to be gourmet but can’t get the simple things right which is a shame. Great location for kids to play in play equipment opposite if you can live with the food.
