The prices at Angazi Café are out of control. It would be cheaper to eat at an airport. $ 9.50 for a cappuccino and a small carrot cake. The carrot cake was so small that it would not even fill the belly of a toddler. What an insult

There is rarely a bad day here at Angazi! Especially since the $ 2 Guild Student Sticker coffees were introduced, my long macs($ 2.40) have never tasted better! The Service is also always fast, friendly and efficient. They’ve also got a wide range of food options available including a wide range of fresh rolls on gourmet preztel bread(these range in price however they are usually around the $ 8 mark — taste gourmet and really nice), sushi, fresh salads and loads more! Seating is aplenty — indoor and outdoors and Angazi is a great place to sit down open up your laptop/text book enjoy the breeze and sun whilst doing some studying :-)

Angazi is where you go if you want something a little more sophisticated or leaner than the grub on on offer at the Tav or the main cafeteria. There are salads, wraps, soups and hot prepared meals that change regularly like pastas, potato bakes and braised meats. Overall the food is good but stay clear of the sushi — it’s pretty awful. Angazi also serves as a good meeting spot, especially if you’re studying at the business school — everyone on campus knows where an Angazi is. Lecturers, tutors and students alike flock to the coffee counter at Angazi for their morning or mid-afternoon caffeine fix. The coffee is better than the cafeteria but not the best you can find on campus. Aside from coffee and food, I’d regularly head to Angazi and set up with some textbooks or a laptop for when I was craving some fresh air and brighter scenery, over the grey library.
