Business Owner

James North is an Australian music producer, recording and mix engineer who works with local, national and international clients in his boutique Brisbane based studio, James North Productions.

After working in other studios and touring as a session musician, James started JNP almost 10 years ago to create a comfortable and unique studio environment.

Clients of JNP have had radio play on Triple J, Austereo Networks, US/​UK/​Euro networks, and much of Asia. Records that James has produced have also been sold across all continents.

James contributes to recordings when required as a session grade guitarist, bass player, piano/​keyboard player and drummer.

He is also a professional songwriter, arranger and composer and these skills are used daily in JNP’s process. His work is respected around the world, and he’s often asked to remotely produce acts, or mix recordings from studios overseas.
