The ramen place at myer centre was too packed so decided to try this place to our suprise it was really good. The noodles came w extra lil things like bamboo shoots and shallots which was great. The place is also mostly emoty but comfortable. Free extra ramen as well!. Will def be back again!

Spicy shoyo tonkatsu — broth was okay, but did not have much flavour. Noodles were okay, I prefer more al dente? ramen noodles, if there is such a thing. Also, $ 15 is not cheap for one slice of pork and half an egg.

Men Ya Go is located further around the corner in the alley between Elizabeth and Albert streets which houses Little Saigon Grill. MYG does tonkotsu style pork broth ramen. I have to preface this review by saying I am a huge fan of Hakataya Ramen, so this place had some big shoes to fill! I tried the spicy shoyu tonkotsu. The good: The bowls of ramen were filled to the brim with a generous serving, including a delicious soft boiled half egg. They provide all the extras — grated sesame seeds, vinegar, chilli oil, chilli powder and soy sauce. Our meal came really quickly and they provide free extra kaedama(noodles)(just like Hakataya). The not as good: I really can’t say it was bad, but it just wasn’t as good as Hakataya! My friend and I both agreed the broth had a little too much chilli oil(not too spicy, just oily), and the extra kaedama was also a little oily for my liking. But the real disappointment was the broth itself. It just lacked a depth of porky flavour! I am not sure how long they brew the pork bone broth for, but it just didn’t hit the mark. If I could give it 3.5 stars I would, but it definitely didn’t hit 4 stars for me.
