Can you give no stars — how can a place so good go so bad. Service was terrible gave half our meal to someone else. No one had any idea who’s food was what. Used to be a favourite place of mine will never go back

Went here for diner before a recent football match. Hadn’t been there for a while and we’re looking forward to the caramel prawns on their menu… Only to discover… They had taken it off the menu! Ahhhh! The food was pretty good — esp the pizzas. They did well to turn our food around given how busy they were. Overall a solid 3 stars.

Big fan of the all-you-can-eat tapas deal. I’ve been three times to Mirasoul, with three groups of people; work buddies, boyfriend, girl’s night and walked away happy every time. The arancini balls are to die for, as are the stuffed mushrooms, and OMG the meatballs. It is a good change from the sometimes disappointing nature of other Brisbane tapas joints ie; overpriced, tiny, and not nearly as good as they sound on the menu. Mirasoul keep it simple, and it works.

It’s a cocktail bar with great tapas right next to the legend of Gambaro’s. Located in Paddington, it’s a great little atmosphere to enjoy cocktails in the late afternoon or on the weekend with a bunch of friends. In my case, mocktails! The alfresco dining area is out the front and the cordonned off ‘cocktails’ area in in the back. Surprisingly deep, this restaurant boasts an eclectic feel and hello, has barbeque pork ribs! I also recommend the sesame duck crepes with cucumber, coriander and mint which are to die for you’ll probably have to order 2 of them. For a tapas menu, it’s a great combination of food that you can not only understand but eat. It’s not fancy pants, it’s not casual larry. It’s smack bang right on target. For all you can eat tapas for $ 27.50 how could you not love this place. We’ve also loved the salt and pepper calamari and vegetarian risotto balls are pretty tasty too. With the Jericho band playing in the background, it’s a pretty good place to hang.

Mirasoul on Caxton Street is a classy little joint, often providing a welcome respite to the chaos of Caxton Street(I’ve sheltered here on game nights and during the Seafood Festival). The pizzas are good, and the all you can eat tapas nights are great value. The bar staff are good at what they do, be it whipping up your favourite cocktail, or even creating a new one. The interior is nicely lit, and the bathrooms are always clean. The tapas nights are the perfect setting for a group dinner.

Mirasoul is a rose amongst thorns if you’re not a fan of Caxton street in general. Over the years, I’ve had few good experiences on Caxton street and plenty of mediocre ones. It’s a shame because it’s such a pretty and central location, but something about just seems to attract sub-par venues. It’s nice to know that Caxton now has a decent place to get a drink and even some tapas. Mirasoul does a great job of classic drinks like mojitos, G&Ts, cosmos, and the like. Their original cocktail menu isn’t super inspiring, but the drinks are made well and the bar staff seem more than competent. Even if their signature cocktail list isn’t mindblowing, it’s great to know that there’s a good, reliable, and relaxing place to grab a drink if you’re on Caxton street and don’t feel like subjecting yourself to any of the much less appealing options. I had some quiet drinks with a friend at Mirasoul one Sunday night and I can honestly say that it was a really enjoyable experience and I went away pleasantly surprised. I will definitely be back!

I first went to this place for a birthday about a year ago with a group of about 20 people and from everyone’s reports including my own its a fun little bar with awesome cocktails and some of the best tapas in the area. I went in again recently with a smaller group of friends to try out the all you can eat tapas for around $ 27 and it was fantastic what incredible value for such tasty food! The atmosphere is very chilled in here with couches, tables, seating on the street and enough room towards the rear for dancing so everyone should feel comfortable regardless of your party size. The cocktails are definitely something to write home about and its unlikely you will be drinking anything else after you try your first one. I suggest trying the Mirasloe for something different and refreshing or the Mr Jones if you are wanting a pick-me-up in regards to Tapas its all good baby! But I would have to say the stuffed mushrooms and chicken drummettes are real crowd pleasers, and not to mention the calamari which is a classic favourite of mine, done well here. If you are thinking of giving this place a whirl make sure you take advantage of the tapas deals through the week and try to get in when there is live music(sundays specifically) if you want some original entertainment.
