Not gonna lie — I might be a brown rice convert! I didn’t think I’d like it, but something about the texture of brown rice and they slight earthy-ness works so well with raw fish! My trainer for work took me here on a Wednesday and a mere two days later we were back again for lunch. I will surely be frequenting this sushi spot for my lunches! Plus, since it’s kind of tucked away it wasn’t busy at all when we were there which was great. Quick service and quality, fresh sushi all at a great price! What more could you ask for? It is cash only — which is a bit of a let down… I typically never keep cash on me!

This is a really good sushi bar. I particularly like their brown rice sushi which I find nicer than the norm. The selection is good, not overly exciting though. The food always seems pretty fresh and that is important as I often eat at weird times of the day when the crowds might have come and gone already. Wish they accepted credit cards though starting to really annoy me that city places have stopped accepting them, it really isn’t hard.

Being a sushi lover I always treat myself to the $ 10 lunch box from this store. Have never walked away in satisfied. Good selection of sushi rolls also but go early ie spot on 12pm. cash only

Wandering through the city in need of a quick feed? Tired of oily, grease-laden burgers? Then head for Sushi Sushi. Unlike a number of sushi stores in the city, this establishment uses fresh ingredients, from the salmon and avocado rolls($ 2.50) to the seaweed salad($ 5.50). The staff who serve you are also the chefs who roll the sushi — completely visible to customers(another sure sign of fresh ingredients). What makes it stand out? The fact that you can choose the type of rice you want — white or, for the health-freaks(like myself), brown rice. With an accompanying miso soup($ 1.80) you are set for a healthy, cheap and let’s face it; ridiculously tasty lunchtime feast.
