Izakaya Kotobuki

I paid about $ 15 and had 6 of those rolls. They were all kinds from prawn, salmon, smoked salmon and sleeve so delicious!The smoked salmon had to be my favourite. I wish would have I got two of them.I was stuffed at the end of it all but very satisfied.I’ll be back when I’m in the area.

Decent Japanese food and great gourmet sushi selection. Made fresh, served hot and great variety. Modest little place with limited seating and a $ 10 eftpos minimum… But good food. It has become our go-to for Japanese, although recent changes in management have brought smaller portions and a drop in quality…

Tsuru Sushi Cafe

Had a work dinner here and we were in the private dining room around the back. This venue is quite nice on Eagle Street Pier.We had the set menu and although the quality of the food was good, it seemed to take forever to come out. Not exactly what a group of men needed after flying in from around the country…

I purchased five plates worth of Sushi, and whilst it was nice enough, plates such as the Teriyaki Chicken tasted pretty ordinary with little sauce, when compared to franchises such as Sushi Train. Whilst the staff were efficient, I did not find the customer service to be overly friendly. I wouldn’t eat here…
