One of the best Phở places I have tried. The restaurant is in an alley off John Street, not visible from the main road. Servings are large, price is reasonable. The soup tastes like the more famous Phở Ann restaurant in Bankstown — which is touted by many as the best Phở in Sydney. However I find that Phở Ann is more consistent than the famous Phở An. I wonder whether they have any connection with one another because of the similar names and flavour of the soup!

This place is located in an alley and it’s all the way at the end on the right hand side. It was hard finding a parking space nearby. We had to park pretty far and walked to this location. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes if you decide to come here. I came here for lunch and it was pretty packed. Even though it was packed, we didn’t wait long before there was an available table. Staff were efficient. Spaces between each table were very small, be careful not to knock someone over or bump into someone eating their Phở. I ordered a small bowl of beef combination(AUD$ 10.50), which was more than enough for me, and a fresh orange juice(AUD$ 3.50). Everything came out pretty quick. The broth lacked flavor where I had to add hoisin sauce and sriracha. In addition, noodles were a bit soggy. I’ve had better Phở.

This is Phooooo-Good! It’s a Phở dominated menu with beef or chicken options. I’ve tried both and am quite partial to the rare beef. Don’t get a large($ 12) unless you haven’t eaten for a week or are planning to take away your leftovers. The small($ 9.50) is more than suffice. Cheap and delish!

What Phil N. said. If his mum can cook Phở like these guys then I wish I knew where he lived. Love that they just pinched another place’s name and just added another«n» REALLY love the Phở, sweet and clear, amazing flavour. Rare beef Phở at a shared table. Tan befriended me and showed me how to put the BBQ sauce in a little plate with lemon juice and how to dip the beef before slurping up a mouthfull of noodles and broth. The flavour is superb. The price is plainly a mistake at $ 8. Just … just … words fail me.

We all know the famous Phở An from Bankstown serves up almightly Phở from the broth of unicorns and magic, but did you know some wizard wearing a cape one day stole the recipe and opened up his own Phở hut? Being a wizard with a cape, he knows a thing or two about disguises, but this guy actually sucked and called his restaurant Phở Ann(yes that’s An+n). It’s like some Italian dude opening a pizzeria called Pizza Hutt. It’s like you copying exam answers from the classroom nerd but naming the test paper his name + «s» and not yours. Well at least that wizard got the most important thing right: The Phở here is Unicornly good and at under $ 10 a bowl, selling your liver can feed you eternally well. So you might ask, what makes me a Phở-fessional? Well I’ve been a Phở slut for sometime and only two places have me coming back for more, Phở Ann and my mums house because I don’t pay rent.
