I’m rating this restaurant with 3 stars simply because I don’t think it’s any different to most Japanese restaurants I’ve been in. The quality of the food was decent and there’s really nothing I can(or should) complain about. The atmosphere was also good — this restaurant doesn’t seem to cater for just one particular group of people. There were diners of all kinds. I have seen families with children as young as 1 years of age and others who were obviously out on dates. The option of grilling your own meat and seafood is also available(similar to Korean BBQ). There are BBQ plates(i.e. where you cook your chosen meat) installed on every table. The only complaints I have with this restaurant pertains to the noise level. It was so noisy — I found myself having to scream just to speak to my sister and her boyfriend(who were both seated right in front of me). And while the restaurant is located in a suburb(Canley Heights) that guarantees ongoing success, parking were not ample. Parking lots and street parking were equally unavailable and it took us quiet a while to find a parking spot. Maybe this is due to the fact that we went on a Friday night. I’d imagine that it would be quiter on other days of the week(e.g. Monday to Thursday). But overall… The service we received was also decent. The waiters and waitresses were polite and the prices of our meals were on the par of most prices you would pay in most restaurants.
