Zarraffa’s Canning Vale

I like Zarraffa’s, I really do. I like their coffee (as the only decent option for drive-​thru coffee on those hellish mornings), it’s in a convenient location for me, they have a lot of options for hot/​cold/​dessert style drinks.
However, their service is just so inconsistent.
Somedays you can drive-​thru and it’s as quick as it can be, the baristas are friendly, and all in all it’s a pleasant experience. But most of the time they are slow, seem to be understaffed and too focused on gossiping with their co-​workers than on getting orders made. This is exceptionally frustrating when you can see there are 8 cars behind you and you were once than eight car too. Occasionally they will send a staff member out to manually take down your order, but that is hit and miss, and then even when you get to the window there’s no guarantee that they’ve made your order.
So, if you have the time to wait — go and be pleasantly surprised at the quality of their drive-​thru coffee, but if you’re in a rush, I recommend just skipping it and suffering through an instant coffee at work!
