Zeneli Flowers is one of those businesses that I always question how there could possibly be a lucrative enough market to justify its’ existence. Sure, people like flowers. 24 hours? I suppose there are many forgetful people working interesting hours out there, but flowers are hardly an everyday necessity like food. Yet somehow Zeneli Flowers has managed not only to survive but by all appearances to prosper from this market. The drive in aspect is certainly very convenient, and it caters to all your basic florist-y needs: newborn baby arrangements, weddings, anniversaries, functions, health well wishes and birthdays. It also offers free delivery to the Carlton and Brunswick areas, so it must be useful to local businesses. Yet the flowers themselves have never really piqued my interest. I guess it’s all just a matter of taste. Yet the day may come when I urgently need flowers at three in the morning, and I know where I’ll go to get them.
