During my stay in Caulfield I ate here regularly. The coffee is consistently good and there are usually flavourful and healthy specials. It’s a bit too noisy, though, and when it’s busy the staff will ignore people who have already ordered. Couldn’t get their attention when I found while waiting for my meal that their public WiFi wasn’t working, for example.

Amazing café to stop by in Melbourne with a great location and tasty glass of coffee. Definitely favorited.

Fresh smoked salmon/juice. Nice service Toast slightly hard Can consider a different roaster for more oomph, such as Atomica, St Ali’s or Jasper.

Uffizi is definitely the best café in the area. They have great coffee and I love the setting with the timber floors, covered outdoor area and chic inside tables. They’ve made a café that’s inviting and welcoming where they’ve backed it up with some great menu items and excellent coffee. The breakfast is amazing where it worth a try of their porridge or rhubarb and strawberry compote. If that sounds too healthy for you then never fear because I caved and had the pancakes and they were amazing! The menu along with a drinks menu that you can get lost in is why this place is always buzzing with people. The fact that it sits across the road from Caulfield Park definitely helps their case as people jogging or going for their morning walk seem to be drawn to Uffizi to get a quick bite before walking back. Really is a fantastic café and worth a visit if in the area.

Uffizi has undergone many a transformation in its time. Once a bright yellow building fit out with classic 1990s café chairs, serving somewhat stale-ish food, this place has come a long way. Now it can stand proud on its corner, well sort of… it’s still a bit dorky. I would recommend this place for a quick kind of bite. It’s one of those places where you can eat alone without feeling too awkward. It’s also good for catch-ups with friends but the atmosphere isn’t astoundingly comforting or trendy. It would probably serve best as a place to rest your feet after a couple of laps around Caulfield park, and the coffee is decent enough.
