Claremont Art Framers and Gallery

What I love about Claremont Art Framers and Gallery is that they don’t seem to take themselves too seriously and aren’t pretentious and this actually goes for the rest of the stores along this street. Surprising this is, considering Claremont is one of the better and more expensive areas but the gallery actually offers a great variety and better; affordable art.
A lot of the work is very contemporary with a new take on pop art (Roy Lichtenstein and Andy Warhol would be proud) and it seems Marilyn Monroe is still of great inspiration to artists with a few paintings honouring her. The rest is a collection of abstract paintings, interesting glass vases which have been painted, traditional works of landscapes and objects and sketches and prints.
If you’re like me and love art but unfortunately don’t have the four digit prices they usually ask for, pop into the Claremont Art Framers and Gallery and you will probably find something you love at a reasonable price.
