The Collaroy

Terrific ! Two of us on a sat night we ordered the fish tacos, two each very tasty and just enough $ 5 per taco and shared the delicious salt and pepper squid $ 16 or $ 17 very nice but the tacos were the winner. Service is also extremely friendly by some very happy staff members. Great casual experience. Hotel is funky, be achy modern

We came here to visiting the Pelican Pavilion but that closed at midday so we opted to go inside the pub to have lunch.
As soon as you walk in you get this beach vibe with summer beach house type furniture (obviously this would be because this place is positioned right on the beach!). We sat at the beach bar area.
We picked a booth to sit in, you order and pay at the counter. In case you are wondering they only serve alcohol and soft drinks, no coffee though.
We had the fish & chips, Wagyu burger and the steak sandwich. The fish & chips came wrapped in a parcel! How cool and cute. The steak sandwich was a winner. However, the Wagyu burger i thought was ok. I probably wouldn’t get it again.
They have an upstairs area but that was closed.
Overall, i thought the food was a 3/​5, however, the location and the layout and furnishings of the place is definitely around a ⁴⁄₅ — It just resonates with summer! Hooray to summer being just round the corner!
