Can not lose on this place. Tasty food. Quick service. Middle of the road pricing. Good atmosphere. Car parking can be tricky on Friday and Saturday nights. There is a good gelato place a short stroll away.

Passing by this restaurant many times, the reason to try is its decoration. we came in a bit early for dinner and some staff were still having their dinner. Service is OK, but we had to wave our hands to draw attention. The dishes we ordered look better than their taste. Soft shell crab is standard, but the dessert, custard and sticky rice, is just sweet, sweet & sweet… The price is not cheap because they charge a premium for good-looking decoration and dishes.

Had dinner last night 29thAUG2014 and despite the bad weather the restaurant had quite a number of patrons. Its clean and have good décor. Service was excellent and they charge $ 2.50 per person for BYO(the wine glass was CLEAN!) which worked well for me . We ordered the duck green curry, salt pepper soft shell crabs, grilled prawns and steam rice. The duck green curry was creamy and excellent. Soft shell crab just slightly above average. The grill prawns had very good flavour but in my opinion should have used X large King prawns as they looked like ‘medium’ size’ esp after being grilled. Perhaps instead of four«medium size prawns» — 2 x X Large Prawns. Bill came up to $ 70.70 — Good Value $ I like the restaurant and would visit them again. Definitely one of the better Chilli Jam Restaurants that I have dined in.

Been to this Thai restaurant with my family a few times now. I would have to say that they have a very high very standard. 1. Inside the restaurant is classy and very relaxing 2. Service is very professional, Staff are friendly and happy. you don’t need to call any waitress over. They will keep checking on you to see if all is OK and if you need anything. Now that is a great service. 3. Food is awesome. The amount is large. Even for pig like me who normally cleans all the plates of my family, I could not finish the meals. The food is delicious, tasty, yummy basically IT’s GREAT. 4. Prize is reasonable. Not expensive. Even if it was. It would be worth it.

Chilli Jam enjoys the reputation of ‘fanciest’ Thai restaurant in Concord. Not a bad title to have, considering the plethora of Thai restaurants along Majors Bay Rd. The dark mood lighting, cool furniture and cliché Eastern decorations, gives the impression that Chilli Jam is a seriously suave establishment. Unfortunately, the service does not match the décor. It is sloppy, disinterested, and unobservant(you’ll probably need to wave someone down a few times before getting a fresh coke). Perhaps Chilli Jam should worry more about service and less about decoration. The menu is quite interesting, and differs greatly from other Thai restaurants I’ve visited in Concord. But while they may have more on offer, the quality is no different from the cheaper Thai restaurants on Majors Bay Rd. The food is decent, but seriously overpriced, and the noise level is often unbearable and annoying. The only thing that keeps me coming back to Chilli Jam is the spicy papaya salad. It is so good, but its severe heat means you wont taste much of your other dishes.
