A small packet of panadol, 10 for $ 7.00 nothing short of greed. Very disappointing as no other options for some distance.

What a disappointment! The pizzas were expensive and a very limited range of toppings was available. This might be forgivable if they were amazing pizzas, but that was certainly not the case. The pizzas were oddly greasy, low on flavour and had unevenly distributed toppings. Despite the claims on their sign that they had the best chips, the chips were very average. Making things worse was the issue of them appearing to disregard basic good food hygiene practices like wearing gloves while handling food. It might be a tolerable option for getting packaged food like ice creams, but I’d recommend avoiding food they cook themselves.

The closest deli store to Cottesloe Beach — it is across the road. The store has a handy takeaway coffee counter and I often order a coffee after a long walk on the beach. The Cottesloe General Store was open and serving coffee last Christmas Day — it was brilliant!

This is a great and convenient store with an awesome coffee counter with a window for access from the street. This store has everything. The coffee counter wasn’t up and running when I went in there and sort of makes the inside of the store a bit cluttered but oh well. They sell everything from post cards and magazines to hot food and frozen cokes. Get your sandwiches rolls, fruit and wraps and cold drinks and cigarettes. This place has all the necessities you will need for a day at the beach.

The General Store has prime real estate directly opposite the main car park at Cottesloe beach. Its got all your basic supplies for a day at the beach or if you have run out at home but you definitely don’t want to be buying a lot here — by virtue of there being no other deli or store around its prices are jacked. This isn’t just an overpriced store though — there is a great deli with fresh sandwiches, rolls and pastries, though their claim of best hot chips in Cottesloe may be a bit rich. There’s also a side window which serves up great coffee and milkshakes, in busy times there’s quite the line up! If you’re craving a coffee or sandwich its a winner, but for other supplies maybe visit the IGA up the road for better prices.
