There was 4 of us and tried about 9 dishes all very good but the lamb cutlet was excellent. Juicy and tender perfectly cook.

Felt as if I’d been transported to Japan. A small homey joint with mellow light wooden tables and chairs. Food was exquisite. We got a seat at the bar, as all the tables were booked out but so glad– we saw the sushi chef prepare everything masterfully directly in front of us. What really differentiated this place was the rice used in all their sushi. It was moist and soft and you weren’t feeling each individual grain like many other(albeit quality) Japanese locals. Sashimi was top grade. Also really enjoyed the nasu eggplant and conger eel nigiri. We ordered two of the latter as it was that good! Hot sake completed the experience. Can’t wait to go back!

The Rainbow sushi roll was delicious. But the grilled makarel was very oily and full of bones. The fried chicken dish was disappointing, a bit like Chicken McNuggets. Quite pricey for what you get.
