What an incredible place, great food, great service, great atmosphere. One of the things I loved was the way the host/waiter not only took our order, but gave us a run down of how it would all work together, advised us against ordering too much where needed, told us where our choices might have overlapped and helped our group of 4 craft the feast we got. To say the meal we had was delicious would be an understatement. It can’t single out individual dishes as it was all fantastic. I couldn’t believe how cheap it was either. We had multiple bottles of wine, several beers and more food than 4 people could eat, for all of that it came to less than $ 50 a head. I can’t wait to go back.

I first discovered this place in 2003. It is my favourite restaurant in Sydney. The wall at the counter is covered in awards, and rightly so. I have not eaten better Chinese food anywhere in Australia. Service is usually pretty good. One time i went and they overheard my family say it was my birthday-they brought out a cake and a samurai sword to cut it with. Totally unexpected! Like the previous review Ben L wrote, the lamb pancakes, salt and pepper prawns and mongolian lamb are something i’d recommend.

Lee’s is a Sydney institution. It has won«Best Chinese Restaurant» awards years in row and is well known to people on the North Shore. You might not know about the restaurant from driving past it on Falcon Street, but it’s just a little bit down from The Crows Nest Hotel /Woolworths. My family and I have been coming here since I was born, that’s 26 years of loyal service! This is a common practise and you can see there are ‘regulars’ here all the time from how Stanley and the staff interact with them. Mr. Lee is usually near the front door to welcome you. We don’t look at the Menu anymore, but I’ll tell you things we enjoy: Entrée’s: Curry Packets, Paper-Wrapped Chicken, Scallops w/Ginger & Soy, *Lamb Pancakes* Mains: Mongolian Lamb/Chicken, Salt & Pepper Calamari/Prawns, San Tung Chicken, Fresh Fish(Barramundi) w/Ginger & Soy **YOUMUSTORDERTHELAMBPANCAKES** — these are my favourite. Protips: — Parking downstairs can be crowded from 6:30pm onwards, you can double park, just leave the keys with the front desk so they can let other patrons out. — Street parking on Falcon St becomes available after 7pm(so plan to have dinner then and grab a good spot out front). — Booking is essential on busy nights.

Some friends told us it was a favourite of theirs, and took us. It was a great time. It’s definitely a place for groups. There were 6 at our large circular table, and many other large parties — including one kid’s birthday party — were happily eating nearby. Order a big mess of food(they’re happy to suggest), slap it on the glass Lazy Susan in the middle, spin and share. I had some delicious san choy bow, some very nice roast duck, and several other dishes that escape me now. They catered for the vegetarian at our table without a blink, as well. The service was funny, fast and friendly. The best Chinese food I’ve had in Sydney, for sure, and probably better than most I had in London.
