I ordered takeaway on Tuesday 16^th June 2015 at 7.40pm. The shop was empty of customers. The young Chinese lady who served me responded like she was on Valium. In her defence she is probably a uni student running two jobs to buy an off the plan studio apartment in Sydney. I ordered Sweet and Sour Pork $ 15 with fried rice. The food here is pre– prepared then refrigerated. Once odered the one and only cook takes a meal from fridge and warms it up in a wok over a gas stove. It takes no longer than 10 minutes. Hence the name Wok Express. The food is served in a convenient plastic tray with bonus chopsticks hence no washing up when you get home and eat meal. By the time I arrived home the meal was just warm. I nuked it in the micro wave. The meal was reasonable in proportion though lacked some pineapple and capsicum and there was not much s & s sauce. It tasted quite good. Though I felt I would have hade a much better experience going to Lees Fortuna Court a few doors away and paying a few extra dollars to sit at a table and chow down a big plate of frreshly cooked sweet n sour pork. But when you are in a hurry the Wok Express is the better option. I recommend you use them because of convenience and great value. I will return.

Ordered home delivery on a windy, showery Friday night at around 8.30… finally arrived just over an hour — rather long considering I was about 5 minutes away by car. At least it was still hot and tasty and was as expected for home delivery Chinese

Decided to treat myself to some take out on a balmy Friday night. Wok Express Fast and Fresh seemed to fit the bill.
The resulting experience was anything but fast and/or fresh. Delivery was 1.5 hours in total and included a requirement on my part to call twice to confirm the food would be here sometime before breakfast.
The food was luke warm and had congealed in its glossy containers. Points go to the free fortune cookies which may well have been the best part of the meal. Unsurprisingly, the cookies did not accurately predict the stomach aches and loose stool.
Would not try again.
