Glengarry Coffee House

Located in Glengarry Shopping Center this café is my local and won a best coffee in perth award from a radio station at the end of 2014. The takeaway coffee has always been to a good standard, keep in mind they only use Hilo milk for all their warm drinks.
Admittedly, I’ve never felt the need to have food or drinks at the café. The set up isn’t particularly cosy and with the foot traffic entering the shopping centre it feels as though you should be on the move too.
This coffee shop is not open on Sunday’s.

The few tables out the front of this coffee house are usually packed full of gossiping older women which is slightly intimidating as you walk through the modest shopping centre.
Inside the Coffee house the walls are an almost in your face too happy bright green which kind of antagonises the decors attempt to make the place look homely.
The coffee here however is good and it is the only place to get coffee apart from Hungry Jacks (but we won’t go there) for all the people at the hospital, the physio, the X-​ray place, the doctors and the shopping centre so they get a lot of business.
I will rate quite highly their spearmint milkshakes and the savoury food that they have to offer is healthy and quite delicious.
But I think the gossiping women taint this place and I usually avoid it or get everything take away.
