Okay, so the guy got my order wrong.
He did cook me a new one.
I like Nandos. The chicken. The peri peri chips. But the service is usually pretty lacking wherever you go, and this one is no different.
This is in a little side alley off the Brunswick Street Mall, and there’s not really any dedicated seating, which can make it difficult around lunch time, but it’s in a good location.
Of course, that means there’s plenty of other places to eat, possibly better choices, but you always know what you’re getting at Nandos. (So long as they get your order right)

Some of the best chicken in town without a doubt, & the price reflects the level you get treated to. As its in the valley its pretty much open all the time & is a great choice when you find yourself wanting something more satisfying than mcdonalds on that late night out. Staff all friendly & plenty of space to sit, if your in the need of a good feed this goes highly recommended!

It was at this Nando’s, on a drunken night out with friends, that I discovered Nando’s ‘seriously large’ chips, and since then I have never looked back when after an early morning snack.
If you’ve passed the tipping point on a night out, or are well beyond repair, stop by this pocket-​sized Nando’s tucked into Licorice Lane connecting Chinatown and Brunswick street. (It’s a little more dignified crawling into a lane way hovel than lying outside McDonald’s with your dress flapping in the wind.)
The staff here are particularly nice considering their monstrous shifts; I’ve wandered by Nando’s at 1:30 in the morning and it’s always the same girl and guy behind the counter, tolerating drunks as they fiddle with change. There is also ample seating and bins around this Nando’s — the council has learnt well.
