As you can see from my profile pic, I don’t have a huge need for a hairdresser — just a quick brush over my head with the clippers and I’m done — but when I did go to a hairdresser Axis Hair & Beauty was my choice.
They’ve done my wifes hair just about since we first came to Adelaide in 1998, she was introduced to Amanda, the owner, by a group of people called Adelaide Settlers, who helped people new to Adelaide find the best local places to go — a lot like Unilocal,but done in person over coffee and cake.
Axis isn’t really promoted as a mens or unisex hairdresser, but I always felt comfortable getting a cut there. Ask for Danielle — she showed real care about getting my hair right, and always had a smile and a greeting, in or out of the salon. Recommended for men, women and kids — prices are fair and the service is great.
